Catt, Here's another way to look at it: The top 4 teams in the Big 10 all won thier bowl games, and all beat higher ranked opponents. This includes two BCS bowl wins. For Big 10 fans this is big step forward.

1 rod and a small backpack with a few lures, scale, camera, and pliars. More than one rod limits my ability to move freely. Too many lures weigh me down. If I'm stream fishing I use spinning gear. If I'm pond fishing I motly use casting gear. I will usually leave a backup rod in the car.

I've got 2 Extremes and one PQ. The PQ is a nice rod, noticably lighter than the Extremes, if that's important to you, and probably more sensitive, although I can't tell much difference. Like most BPS rods, it's a good rod for the money, especially when on sale. You can't really go wrong with either.

I'll say great rod and a pretty darn good reel, especially for the price.

I carry too many styles of plastics to begin to count, but I could survive happily with the following: 1. Senko 2. *** *** 3. Any Ribbon Tail Worm 4. *** Strokin' Toad Everything else ties for 5th.

Years ago I dated a girl from work. She didn't make much money but she dressed like she did. Always a new outfit, always the latest style. I never thought much about it until she got busted for shoplifting. It's easy to fool people when you're intelligent, polite and completely devoid of a conscience. When anyone questioned a transaction of The_Natural's in the flea market, there was always at least one member here ready to vouch for the guy. We were all taken in, I wouldn't be surprised to learn that his wife was just as clueless as the rest of us.

Moore looked like a legit threat at QB, but Peppers took over that game last night. He was an absolute beast. Great all-around game by the Panthers.

I'll go with Red Grange. He scored at least one touchdown in every game he ever played in except one. He scored 4 touchdowns in less than one quarter against a Michigan team that hadn't given up 4 touchdowns the entire previous season, all on runs of more than 40 yards. He was as close to unstoppable as any player who ever wore a leather helmet. Have you figured out that I'm a Fightin' Illini fan?

He's incredibly gifted, but does seem to lose interest in the game at times. Lazy passes that get picked off, standing around on defense. But then he just turns it on and takes over. It has to drive Calipari crazy.

Are you missing a social security check? Birthday card? Electric bill? My buddy was fishing a ditch near his family farm and stumbled across this. Bundles of undelivered mail thrown into the channel. He gathered what he could find and turned it in. The post office is investigating. It's amazing what you find fishing.

That was a quality rant! A couple good laughs and lessons learned. It's disappointing that the guy didn't at least offer you back your $20. Better luck next time out!

Your original post makes it sound like this might be your first time golfing. Borrow clubs and make sure you actually like golf before commiting to a set of clubs.

I doubt you'll have any trouble pulling an aluminum jon. I pulled a 16 foot fiberglass boat with an 84 mercury cougar for 3 years.

Too often the defender is so focused on stripping the ball that he misses the tackle altogether.

You could buy a nicer reel, such as a Citica E, for around $120. Then if you don't like it, sell it on the flea market for $90. If you do like it, you've got a great reel that will serve you for years. I generally prefer a baitcaster as an all around rig for shore fishing. I prefer a spinning reel when wading streams.

I fish 40+ times a year. Before I joined this website I used Eagle Claw worm hooks and never gave them a second thought. But Gammys got good reviews here, so for a few pennies more I made the switch. Now I read more positive reviews about Owner hooks than Gamakatsu, so when my supply dwindles I'll try the Owner hooks. I have bent the lighter wire Gammys, just like I've bent the lighter wire Eagle Claws. I've never bent a Gammy Superline hook. I've only rolled one hook point on a Gammy, that I can remember. I like Gamakatsu hooks just fine, but I don't know that I catch more fish now than I did with Eagle Claws. Maybe I'll notice a bigger difference with Owner.

I think baseball forced Marge Schott out and the NFL got rid of Art Modell . Art was continuing to claim finacial problems, even with a no cost stadium lease that brought in then an estimated 25 mil in parking and concession revenues. NFL asked him to sell and he did to his minority partner. Today, Modell still owns 1% of the team thats worth an estimated 600 million in todays market, so thats about 60 million. Not a bad 1% I'm no math whiz, but I believe 1% of of 600 million is $6 million.
