I have heard very good things about these rods. For those that have fished them, what do you think of the Winn grips? Are they comfortable? I used to golf a lot, and they were always comfortable on my clubs. Not sure if their fishing rod grip material is the same as their golf club grip material.

I just buy a lot more stuff......

Does anyone have Megabass rods on sale? I know they typically can't be advertised as on sale but sometimes you can call and get a deal.

What are your intended uses for the rod? If primarily moving baits then all of your options might be a little overkill. If primarily bottom contact, where sensitivity is most important, then it might be worth your while to try and find a deal on a Loomis NRX. With that being said, I am also interested in the Dobyns HP rods....they look like nice rods and I hear they are a little lighter and more sensitive than the previous Extreme rods.

I just got the 100HG a couple of weeks ago. Haven't got it on the water but just by playing around it feels wonderful. Super, super smooth. Absolutely beautiful, and yes the 100 is surprisingly small. The palm side is about the size of the old 50. With the x-ship and micro gears I think it will be great for any type of moving bait. It will probably last you forever.
