  1. For me its anything made by Live Target. A box full of Live Target baits and no bites
  2. Forest lake, Thousand Hills Sate Park. It's been crank bait's for me 8' deep 20' off the bank in the morning and 1' deep in the middle of the day against the bank. The bigger bass in the middle of the day.
  3. Here in north Mo. it been so bad at day light I am asking why am I going? By 9am its all I can do to stay on the lake. But the bite has been good and really good from 10 to noon on shady windy banks in 1' of water.
  4. High end rod builders say M/MOD for cranks and M/XF for top water. One rod for both I use M/F with 10 to 12 pound Mono.
  5. For me black with green tips most of the time. Have them in many colors and catch fish on all of them. Smoky chad is good in clear water. Single blade strike king try wing and the strike king KVD Tournament grade.
  6. Live Target can not catch a fish on anything Live Target.
  7. The bass have been different every time I go this year. Never in the same place or want the same thing and the bite changes a lot during the day. Never fail to catch them but you have to work for it. This morning it was 8' to 10' deep on a Boomer Model A Hot Tomato 20' to 25' off the bank then right on the bank with a KVD 1.5 Chartreuse Citrus Shad in the middle of the day.
  8. It's been Buzz Bait's for me until this week now it's Crank Baits.
  9. Dish network 5$ extra a month, lots of fishing shows
  10. For $200.00 Bass Pro. Pro Qualifier Reel $100.00 and Bass Pro Extreme Casting rod $100.00
  11. I like Cork, to me it looks expensive. To me EVA looks like I didn't have any money so this is the rod I got at Wal-Mart. I like the fill of Cork too and not EVA.
  12. Lots of top water. Day in and day out I catch more Bass and bigger Bass on top water.
  13. The first 5 hours of light. I start in the spots that are going to see the sun first and end up in the spots that see the sun last. Then I hope heave black clouds roll in, if not I am done after 6 hours of hard fishing.

I got the standard size Browning worm binder and two packs of pages. I will look today and see how many packs are in it, thinking over 20.

I got the Browning Worm Binder from Bass PRO. I have had it for three years now still like new and holds 20 sum packs. I keep them in the package and put them in the binder pages. Would not be with out it.
  17. It's carved in stone May 8-11-2016. Going to Port Kimberling. What will the bass be hitting then? Will they be in the coves or out on the main lake points?
  18. I push the blade against the front of the wire bend it and cut off the extra wire so there is more room for him to get the hook in his mouth then bend the wire next to the head so the body runs deeper in the water and angled down and turn the hooks up so he sets the hook himself. The skirts shorten some and lengthen others. I have a bag full of black skirts with Fl. green tips that they just love.
  19. Buzz Bait first five hours of the day.
  20. Planning a trip to table rock lake next spring. It will be the first time I have fished the lake. Going some time between April and June. What would be the best time to go and what part of the lake do I want to fish? Do the bass spawn in late April early May in South Mo. lakes?
  21. Crank baits have been slow for me the last month. Try servile every time I go and most of the time I have to put the color-C-lector in the water before I get the right one this year. Buzz bait's have been hot all day most days this year.
  22. I fish a buzz bait most of the time. Catch most of my fish on one. I have had no more than 2 out of 75 or 100 fish on the trailer hook this year.
  23. If a 50% hook up rate is all you have now something is not right and the trailer is not going to do much good. Very rarely is a fish ever on the trailer hook
  24. Put the color-C-lector in the water.
