  1. If you have it trimmed all the way down it will plow through the water and be slow. The more weight you put up front the more you will have to trim the motor up.
  2. How do these 4 Kansas Lake's rank in bass fishing? Perry, Clinton, Pomona and Melvern put them in order best one to the worst one.
  3. I some time fish out of a 1436 jon boat with a old Jonson 9.9 on it. Me at 240lb him at 170lb, TM battery & TM lots of gear and a big cooler full of water for the fish it is 20 to 22mph. GPS. I would think 6hp would be at least 15mph
  4. I would go with the small boat. Would not waist any time, young or old there may not be a tomorrow or next year.
  5. I have a standard Rule on a Rule Automatic switch it never runs until it gets water to trigger it.
  6. Rule makes more than one Automatic that is not sealed
  7. AMAZON. Rule Bilge Pumps
  8. Thinking it was time for a new plug. Got a new T type plug at walmart. Took the boat out and it took on water first and second time to the point the pump ran. Put the old T type plug in the next three times and no water. The new one went in the trash.
  9. Agree, probably the brushes. Have not done one in a long time, but like most things that have brushes it's an easy job.
  10. Stopping is the big thing. Had a Ford Ranger with big v6, pulled my Lowe 180W fine, but I could not stop it if I had to lock up the brakes. All 4 locked up and push you on down the highway. So would not want much of a boat with a Subaru Outback.
  11. Long bolts and 1/2'' PVC Pipe cut to length for shims at the back
  12. One more for thermocell if there is little to no wind. I bow hunt creek bottoms in September and they are a most have. Great for decks and camping. Have 2 and would not be with out them.
  13. Is the motor trimmed all the way down?
  14. On my Bass Tracker it bounced all over the place so I screwed it to the deck. That was for a day, hated it so took the screws out and let it bounce. The Lowe I have now rides good, I have never seen it bounce in ruff water. If it does it is so little that I have not seen it.
  15. Caught a 19.5'' bass one time that was just 2.6 pounds
  16. I have never seen a charger that you could set to 24v just 6 or 12
  17. Is the drain on the livewell open and pulling the water out when you make a run?
  18. 10 or 12 pound mono. I use 10 most of the time.
  19. The drain on the outside of the boat to the livewell is 1'' too. I would plug it and put water in the livewell to see if it drains out in the hull.
  20. Yes plug. It is 1'' just like the drain plug
  21. Pug the intake to the livewell on the back of the boat then see if it take on water.
  22. I have 3 Walmart Everstarts in my boat now, 1 in my lawn mower. I will be getting more when I need them. Had 1 that was 10 years old when it went bad.
  23. My days off to go fishing are Monday and Friday, so most of the time I am the only one on my boat, they are all at work.
  24. Me and my son hit the lake for the first time this year. His first bass for 2017 4.8 and his best on Forrest Lake.
  25. My dad. Miss fishing with him so much.
