  1. Whats the story on these? I got to hold them at the 2014 Bass Masters Classic and they are no where to be found. Now they are making an appearance on the web. I got one off Amazon for $120, I guess I will find out in a few days. Weird how they are marketing them or not marketing them...
  2. Green Pumkin and black/blue on bottom hoppers. I keep some chartruese and orange dye close by tho.
  3. Headed to Chick in Oct. Never been. Anyone have a recomendation of places to stay and what area of the lake would be best for lm bass? I go to Guntersville every year in the late winter and this will be a new deal for me.
  4. Just recieved my 10 custom painted baits. Edgewood lures painted a lot i sent. 3 Original Warts, 2 bandit 200, 2 Bandit 300, 2 DT6, and a Little John...
  5. Hit my Ranger and we would find out fast. I would say my temporary insanity level would hit the roof. And dude the race car thing? He killed someone! What are you talking about? Skippy, being from Pekin I would have thought you were alil rougher than this. None of them Salem fellas ever called you a name or messed with your girl? Don't tell me your a "give them all a trophy" guy too? You are not a PITA member are you? Come on Skippy! Two guys had a pushing match and nobody was hurt, let it go boss. Lets go to Borden Reservoir and have a fish off... Settle this thang lol

Anyone still throw a Big O? I picked up a few oldies in great shape. I put new hooks and split rings and they are now in my square bill box. Thinking about tossing them in Guntersville in a couple weeks. Be cool to catch a hog on a bait that is older than i am. I also picked up a huge original Spot. It was chrome but i took all the paint off and it is a bone color now. It has a one knocker sound and feel. Thing is huge. It will also see the Guntersville waters....
  7. 1/2oz Green pumpkin jig with a green pumpkin paca chunk. Grass or drops, this will catch bass and big ones too.
  8. A true automatic shallow water anchor that a working man can afford.... You can get a 70" flat screen HD tv now for less than a bracket on these things. Baits wise, anyone ever thought about a "lure wrap"? Like a rattle trap wrap for instance. Start out with a chrome trap and if the water color or weather changes u just reach in and wrap it Red...
  9. This had nothing to do with the Elites. Why suspend them there? That is their job. This was an Open. So if I was to get in a fight at a club tourny at some little boat ramp in BFE, I should get suspended from my real job? I think BASS did the right thing. They suspended them from Opens and gave the co anglers their money back. Done and done.
  10. He will still fish Elites and FLW. Just not the opens. probably save him some money really. One bad thing is that a win would put him in the 2016 Classic and now he doesnt have that luxury. Poche just has to sit out of the southern opens not the others.
  11. 2014, my partner and I made money. We fished 8 tournaments and after it was done, gas, food, baits and even fishing equipment we made money. From the first tourny in March we just felt dialed in. Making good decisions at the right time. We had a one two punch. I would use more moving baits on the front deck and he would slowdown and pick areas apart. He ended up angler of the year from the back of my boat and i was third. I swear there is nothing like putting a plan together and it work out. We lost one fish that I recall. We dialed back our line size and that was a major key in our success in my opinion. Noticed this on our annual trip to guntersville over the years. i would catch a few more fish than he did and when he switched line size it was like a switch came on. We took that and put it to use in every tournament situation we had last year. Just something to think about... I am so fired up for this year. I am headed to Gville in a few weeks and I have a game plan that is sure to produce. Bill Dance said it best, "Confidence is the best bait in your tackle box".
  12. They hit it like a truck too! Catching fish is what I try to do and if this bait works in certain situations, then I will toss it in... Vote me in for the A rig!
  13. Goose pond colony. They have cabins with four beds or a lodge that has double rooms. You wouldnt have to go far to fish eat or bait shop. I will be there the last week of Feb. This will be 10 years in a row. I stay at Goose Pond Colony and I have yet to have a bad expierience. North and south Saulty creeks are full of bass. You are not far from Mudd creek or even Mid lake. My advice is to trailer to the bigger creeks and stay there. Trailering is really easy at Gville. At the Classic last year 4 of the top 10 guys were in those creeks or really close. have fun and IM me if you have anything you want to ask.
  14. Just watch your line... I dont think about sensitivity much.
  15. Like to know more about the fight between Ish and Keith Poche. They both went into the drink...
  16. Nope, never have used an anchor. My fishing partner seems like an anchor sometimes....
  17. I put my boat right next to the bluff and throw either a sp jerkbait or a shad rap. Keep it in the strike zone. I seldom throw a bottom bouncer anymore. If i throw a t rig it will be a weightless senko. Good luck and let us know how you do this year with all of these.
  18. Goose I have some trade bait... I would love to have those old cheap Carbonlites... lol
  19. Man you guys are very meticulous on rods. I am impressed. I have several rods that I would not be scared to throw shallow/mid crankbaits and Jerkbaits. I also use my deep cranking glass rod for Jerkbaits and 10+ footers. Reels too, 24 IPT 26 IPT 28 IPT too many numbers and letters for me. Good luck with your search. Sounds like you got your answers. Just know you can adjust your IPT alil when you feel how hard you jerk the bait lol. Its fishing guys, dont over think it. I say your rod with any of these reels will work awesome.
  20. love Google, you guys have any of these forsale?
  21. My goal is to learn to fish mid to deep crankbaits. Last year (this) I put alot into jerkbaits. I feel like I have a good handle on them now. I am a big believer in confidence. You have to give things a try and do well on them to get that confidence. If I can gain confidence in deeper diving crankbaits, I will feel better about my chances in any situation. (tournament)
  22. Big head on her, I say 4.5ish.
  23. got 6 LC Mini SKT DR for $50. Thought it was a decent deal.
  24. A boat is a hole in the water you throw money in. And I love it. I will have a boat til I die. My old Ranger is my baby. I wipe it down every chance I get and can't wait til the next time I get in it. Bank fishing is fun but nothing like going out in a bass boat. I read alot of guys on this forum that have kayaks and small craft. You can have those too, I will be in my bass boat. Too bad the new boats have out priced the working man tho. I would love a new one but just can't spend 50-60K.
  25. Lucky Strike Pro Blue
