I'm a fan of my bully wa's. Haven't tried live target though. I can walk my pad crashers but not as easily as my bully wa or bully wa 2.

I got a tatula xt and it feels a lot like my Duckett ghost

I use both. But I use the Dbomb when I want to have the bubbles come off the ribs ie. Muddy or stained water. I like the action of the pit boss as well. I have a pack of RI Beaver but no bites yet

I gave shakey head fishing a shot today. Although I didn't catch anything on it yet, I like the technique. I used the zman finesse worm and what I think are Nichols shakey head. The hook has a curve to it. It was some I got in a mtb box months ago. Anyway I hate ttrying to screw on the zman worms. Even tried to heat it up with a lighter. But I really like the shakey head design. Just need it with a different keeper style better for zman plastics

All good stuff. I seen a combo in dicks called the Ike Jr. I think. That a good rod? Those zebco spinning look neat. The more options Ihhave for him the better. He can look at his cool rod when the bite gets tough

My nephew wants to go fishing and asked me to take him. He has never been and is turning 8 soon. I need opinions for a good combo for him. I thought about the zebco but I taught my wife with one and she always wanted to get it out a little bit further than what a spincast can do. This is why I'm leaning towards a spinning setup. I learned on one before I was 8. And I think the spinning setup will be good for him to master. He's already in gifted classes and robotics. So just pushing the zebco button might bore him. What you all think?

Maaaan I just bought cxx to try without even looking at reviews. I guess I could use it as a leader that way it stays straight most of the time. If all else fails, backing material.

You may want to to switch to 8 to 12lb test fluoro for your reaction bait rod

Just picked up a pack of these today. Reaction innovation kinky Beaver (the one with 2 long tentacles in the middle). I got green pumpkin on one side and chartreuse on the other (forgot the name). I think I'm going to try it on a weighted (swim bait) hook for a horizontal fall.

I have the 7' mh ghost. Very nice rod. Plenty sensitive. Ive usedmmostly braid on it and some FC. With that said I just got a Daiwa tatula xt rod but haven't used it yet. It was 94$

94$ on eBay. I bank fish. Those rods still OK? I'm 5'8 I looked for the tatula on WM but don't see it

Just ordered a tatula reel! Excited about it. I need some good suggestions for a crankbait /spinnerbait rod though.
