Only had an hour to fish over at the Susquehanna and had no luck. the water finally went down and it's pretty clear, however, it's about 91 and completely sunny. I tried a drop shot right away with Trick worm and after a few casts, my weight got snagged and that was the end of trying that. I think I definitely need to invest in some much better weights.

I'm debating on buying some line as well. I have the 15# PowerPo right now in Moss Green but I feel like I should upgrade that for my MH. I'm not 100%

See, can you punch with spinning gear? I've never known. I just have no idea what kinda' things to look for when I'm getting jerk baits and GOOD jigs and GOOD swim jigs. Also, I plan on getting some T & C-Rig stuff but I need to figure what I need exactly for my stuff. 10# mono on a MF, braid & 12# leader of FLuoro on a M & 15# braid on a MH.

I'll be honest, I've never heard of a scrounger until about two days ago. I never really had success with spinner baits and I had two Z-Man chatterbaits but lost 'em. I have a couple VMC Rugby Head's in my possession. Here's where the suggestions come into play! haha. I have no idea about which are the most successful swim jigs, chatters or spinners. I'm stumped here. I'm glad we're talking this out and my lack of certain lures caused you to question!

So using a leader gives you the same strength as the braid mainline that you're using while giving you the invisible line factor of the leader?

I also want to up my braid from 15# but I'm not 100% yet.

I will be getting a bigger rod sometime soon but it'll only be a spinning rod. I need to see something cheap yet good in my budget!

I ordered quality jigs from SO before but I, for the life of me, can't figure out how to create great skirt colors on there without it looking like a Bill Cosby sweater.

More so smallies but I fish for LM a decent amount as well.
