  1. So, what colors do you guys SUGGEST? Chartreuse/white, etc in clear colors and Junebug/darker in muddy? Also, when you guys say swim jig--what exactly do you mean?
  2. I recently picked up a pack of these in the Junebug color; anybody ever have success with these? I tried putting one on my black on black cavitron but didn't help me any. I'm trying to use these things more often! Any help would be spectacular
  3. See, that black & blue color caught me some fish but I don't know. I guess I gotta'
  4. Just looked up that Neko rig too, seems pretty sweet. How do you go about picking the right nail weight?
  5. Appreciate it brother, I never even considered nose hooking a craw. I might give that a try.
  6. So you throw it out and let it sink, and then what? Either drag or pop it up and down ?
  7. I actually dipped the arms of my PB&J rage bug in chartreuse today and whaddya' know -- bite.
  8. So, I used to use the Rage Craw's back in April and caught a few walleye on them and recently picked some more up. I got summer craw but for the life of me--I can't remember how I had them rigged for success. I have the siebert outdoor weighted hooks for them with the screwlock but obviously they don't sit straight up. I tried using a shakey head but I didn't get any bites on that. What's the best hook to use on these? Also, what colors do you guys have success with?
  9. I'm looking online and they're all for 70!
  10. Ah, d**n -- I feel like a moron now lol. What's the difference between the shock series spinning rod & trigger rod - if you know?
  11. I started a thread earlier but I'm going to break this down specifically. I am looking to get a medium heavy rod for frogging and other things related to that rod and am trying to spend...60.00 or under. I see the Lightning Rod's by Berkley are apparently good but I want some reviews of what ya'll think. Thank ya'll!
  12. That' what i'm thinking from now on
  13. Hey man, I appreciate this help beyond belief -- you can't even imagine haha I honestly only throw a cavitron buzzbait, senko's, rage structure bugs-horny & rage toads, shakeyheads & a rare crankbait. I got a 6'0" rod that i used for my senko's and stated using the heavier stuff for this but i'm hoping to bump up and get a rod to replace the 6'0". I just need to figure out what will go best with what rod 'cause I'm not sure what goes best with what lol
  14. Which is better, per say. ..between medium heavy/medium heavy fast?
  15. Yeah, i've seen some stuff on the Berkley rods. What else can you throw on a "frog" rod?
  16. Are there any good, say....40.00 MH rods to buy? I recently bought a sojourn and its pretty good and that was right around that price.
  17. I don't fish Lilly pads often, and I bank fish but I kinda want to change line regardless for this rod
  18. O am heavily considering going to braid on my 6'6 medium fast spinninng rod
  19. O am heavily considering going to braid on my 6'6 medium fast spinninng rod
  20. 10lb Strenn Mono throwing top water frogs and other things in Lilly pads, thick ones too. Someone tell me what makes that a bad idea for the mere sake of me comparing what I saw today. My frog would get stuck on a pad, I'd have to yank it and it'd cone flying back. needless to say, I now know why mono is bad for that. What do y'all recommend?
  21. I have one, but it's lighter I guess? anyway, it feels like i'm throwing just a hook it's that light lol
