ill go back and put my hands on the rod again in store. i dont plan on using braid but surely the mod fast would be fine for topwaters and spinnerbaits,etc.

anyone use these?. found some for around 100 a piece thinking of trying the 6'9mh for maybe spinnerbaits and topwaters. ive handled em in store and they feel nice

good topwater? worth $20ish bucks? really getting into topwaters and like tryin different walking baits

bps proqualifier or daiwa tatula. or c if you can find a used citica 200E. the tatula can b found for 99 now. im probably about to pick up another one

right now using a lamiglas excel2 glass rod for cranks and spinnerbaits. sometimes ill throw em on a 6'6 shimano crucial. both work fine

hope their quality control is good cuz my popper came in the mail and says made in china. was thinkin these were made in japan but o well

ignore the bearing counts. curado is great reel or the tatula

mono or copoly. i use mccoy xtra clear on my topwater setup

u could find a shimano citica 200E for around 60. theres a guy on facebook selling one for 55 not sure if its gone yet. but usually see em for around 60-70. id go that route its a great reel. if wanting something new that Mettle is a solid reel

just tried it but no luck. some casts it sounds normal then the next cast is this ridiculously loud whiny sound. guess ill call the guy who cleaned it and see what he thinks

had my curado I for a year now and had it professionally cleaned before this season. anywah today i took it out and started making a loud whining sound on sidearm casts but overhead casts were normal. now all a sudden on overhead casts its makin this same loud noise. anyone ever have an issue like this with a reel?

cant wait for that next TW sale. got alot of hard baits on my list. maybe theyll drop the price of the chronarch 50E also.

hard to beat the powell diesel for the money. its plenty light and works great. i also have the lamiglas excel 2 glass rod and its a great one as well
