it appears cabelas tournament zx rods r no longer on sale i had planned to pick up the spinnerbait rod. and still might. but was just curious about the duckett ghost 7'mh and how well it would handle these techniques? i can buy from local shop and probably get a slight discount on the duckett

i bought the glass rod. havent fished with it yet so i cant give u much feedback but ive read a couple reviews from guys using the glass rod and they say its very versatile and a steal at the price. they look great also. ive read that the graphite models r a bit stiff like the veritas so u may want the 704 for the techniques u mentioned
