for anyone who owns an 8+ ratio reel do u prefer them over the 7 ratio for texas rigs?. going to order a Metanium most likely and not sure if i wanna go with the hg or the xg. was leaning more toward hg but reading in forums guys seem to love the xg. is there noticeable loss of torque when fighting a fish ?

i have the zx frog rod . i had it for sale but thinkin i might keep it after playing with it some more. its just so comfortable to hold. not tip heavy either. love the grips on these things. considering picking up the spinnerbait rod while its on sale

contacted shimano and asked if i would be able to put a Met MGL handle with the big power knobs onto a regular 13 Met and the response was no they are not interchangeable. thought that was kinda weird.

gotcha. thats the only thing about the 13 met i didnt care much for.

can the handle or knobs on the 13 Met be swapped to the bigger ones like on the new MGL?

handled metanium today now i just cant decide if i should go with the upcoming MGL or just get the one thats been out

is tempting as i do like the 100size but im kinda in love with the 2 50's i have - (chronarch and scorpion)

gotcha. will probably go with the Met. will probably be on the lolmokout for a core 50 size also tho as ive just started hmusing 50size shimanos and they fit my small hands really well

well. i ended up catching quite a few sunday mainly on the rattling ones. i caught about 6-7 on a 6th sense ****** and hooked a nice one that broke my line and made off with my lure.
