Also what time in the day would I have a better chance for success? Lastly is there any other tips with handling this species? First time targeting them. Thank you,

  13. Went out this weekend and both days around 11 the heat was incredible. How does that affect the bite when the temperaturee is really hot? Specifically the local canals and lakes here in south florida. It's just going to get worst and worst in terms of heat the next few months. Any advice on fishing in the summer heat?

  17. I would buy one pack of 5 inch senkos watermelon or green pumkin and then buy a a cheaper brand of stick worms. For me I start with the senko and once I get one fish then I switch up to the other brands and try different styles of worms. I see what works and what doesn't.

I personally really like backpacks but I can't seem to find one that has enough side storage as a medium tackle bag. Thank you
  19. I got a few buddies that want to go fishing for peacocks. We are going to canoe and kayak in everglades national park down south. Did the peacocks make it down there? Any espific area we should concentrate on? On another note are the bass and peacocks safer to eat from enp? We want to try a few fish but don't want to eat them from the city lakes and canals here in sfl.

  21. I've caught a few in the Pembroke Pines area. Largest 3 lb. i see a lot of little ones hanging out in my man made lake behind my house. Haven't spotted any big ones on the edges yet.

  23. With all this rain what will everyone be fishing this weekend? Are lakes and ponds better than canals? Or vice versus? Any insight into why either is better would be appreciated.
  24. Went to the pines dsg righ by my house and they have a buy one get one free special right now on lures. Spinners, jigs, rapalas, frogs(not many left), chatterbaits, and some randoms. Took a picture of the sale.
