  1. My uncle makes his own and hunts with them...
  2. I was gonna see it this weekend but I'm going fishing instead haha.... Probably gonna miss the mayweather v. Pacman fight too
  3. I got to rank 5 on this video game I play, that's pretty cool I guess haha
  4. Since its been colder for a week and not just a day or two it might be okay, or it might be a disaster... Only way to find out is go fish!
  5. 3/8oz and 1/2oz are all I really use for swim jigs... I'd have to lean towards 3/8oz though.
  6. Happy birthday! Glad you got to keep your fishing tradition going
  7. You mean the roadmobile?
  8. Don't worry they're in a better place now.... R.I.Pieces
  9. Yeah I'll probably just freeze some water bottles like bluebasser mentioned
  10. I've got 30lb test on my diawa tatula and I use that for flipping, pitching, jigs, and plastics. I had 50lb on but it needed respooled and I didn't have more 50lb so I settled for 30lb. Honestly I'm kinda liking the 30lb, it slices through the grass and pads here really good and it really doesn't dig in that bad... 50lb will be fine though and it definitely digs in less than 30lb, but IMO 30lb is more versatile and thats what I need in the lines I use atm
  11. Ever since I broke a ML St.Croix awhile ago I am so worried about all my rods... If I bump any of my rods on something in the slightest my OCD kicks in and I have to do a full body inspection to make sure I haven't structurally weakened it haha I guess its because I don't have the money to replace them so if one breaks I'm outta luck. Like my flipping rod, that thing is my plan A, B, and C for an upcoming tournament so I have been babying it like its my destiny to keep that rod in good condition...
  12. Just curious, have you used any of these baits your recomending?
  13. All the lady that signed me up could do for me is give me an info packet and all it says is you need a livewell and aerator.
  14. Well I went ahead and signed up for the tournament today... Wish me luck!
  15. Dang those are some good fish! Nice job
  16. How much ice should I put in the livewell? And how often?
  17. Welcome to the club! Haha
  18. Hey Frosty, I think I got a bite!
  19. I bought something called a "bubble box" this morning because a friend recommended it... It wasn't very expensive, hopefully it'll do its job.
  20. I fish a lot of very dark water that doesn't have much visibility. Black and blue works great for low visibility water, I don't know all the science behind it but I can tell you one thing... IT WORKS!
  21. It also isn't a very large livewell so If we caught 5 big fish they would be kinda cramped in there shoulder to shoulder....
  22. I really wanna do a tournament coming up in early May on the lake I fish a lot, we have a livewell in our boat but it doesn't have an aerator. It just has a hole where the lake water goes in and fills it up when you put the boat in the water, what If I bought one of those portable aerators from the store and put it in there? Would that be good enough?
  23. Braid for everything for me too, and sometimes a leader.
  24. Nice fish! Sounds like a great day out
  25. Oooooooohhhh, I thought you were talking about me not the fish hahaha!
