March Madness!
This is the first year I've really started watching basketball and this season was just fantastic, so many close games! Wisconsin and Duke both played their hearts out of their chest, great game!

Triple Play
I was asking about the fish called a Triple Play, at least that's what some of my family members call them, I think people also call them triple tail. Every caught them? I heard they are very good eatin'!

Water Temps To Bring Out Those Topwater Baits.
When the waters over 55°, I've caught bass on top water lower than that though. Anytime the fish are shallow and active I'll try a top water for the heck of it....

Problems Setting Hook While Using 7" Zoombait Flukes
Try fishing the fluke up-side down, Trust me....

March Madness!
I just wasted 2 hours of my life to see a very very close basketball game get ruined by some refs. That's fantastic.

How Do I Know What's The Best Gear Ratio For What Baits?
I wouldn't worry about it to much... Around 26-28 IPT is pretty universal. I generally like a faster reel for everything that doesn't come through the water like an umbrella lol

Easiest To Use Walk The Dog Top Water Bait ?

What About Poker?
You should look up some national cheerleading competions, not saying one is easier than the other but there is some very competive "cheerleading" outside of highschool.

How Many Of Y'all Actually Use Lead When Punching?
The biggest lead bullet weights they had were only 1/2oz so I just bought two 3/4oz tungsten weights and some hooks, that's the biggest size bullet weight they had....

How Many Of Y'all Actually Use Lead When Punching?
I know there have been tons of "Tungsten vs. Lead" threads but I couldn't really find a whole lot on using lead to punch, if this has been discussed before please point me in the right direction. I got a rod I can use for punching now and after school I'm probably gonna pick up some hooks and weights to try out, I only have 25$ to spend so I can't really afford 6-8$ weights... I'm mainly worried because the lake I normally fish has a lot of chain pickerel and I feel I would lose the expensive tungsten weights in just a few trips... How many of y'all actually use lead to punch thick grass and pad mats? Seems like tungsten is about 50% smaller than lead, but can I still get away with using huge 1oz or 1-1/2oz lead weights to get through the mat?

Spin Reel $150 Price Range
I have a President and I love it, with 150$ you have a ton of options but I don't think you would be disappointed the slightest bit if you went with the 60$ Pflueger President.

What About Poker?
Poker is something I enjoy watching, it definitely takes alot of skill and practice but call it what you want.

Breaking In New Line Tips
If it's wind knots then try the little bit more expensive power pro super 8 slick, it's a lot easier to pull wind knots out with the super slick than the original power pro.

Got A Rod & Reel For Easter!
My uncle gave me his old Cabelas Megaroyal Plus MRP 200 (needs some reel Maintenance before it gets used...) and a Cabelas Fish Eagle II rod, the rod is rated for line 10-20lbs and 3/8oz to 2 1/4oz lures is 7' and has a pretty fast action. I'm thinking once the reel is fixed up I could use it for swimbaits or something and the rod should be a decent swimbait/flipping/frogging rod until I can get something specifically for those applications... Anybody every used this rod or reel?

New Pb!!!

First Rod Warranty Experience And Its A Good One!
About 4 inches snapped off the tip of my St.Croix mojo rod and so I packaged it and sent it to them about a week and a half ago requesting a warranty, I expected to get an email confirming they got it or something but today I walked outside and there is a rod tube on my porch, they replaced it no questions asked! All they make you do is write a note explaining how it happened and pay for the shipping to and from, pretty good stuff!

Dragging Jigs On A Soft Bottom
Yeah I don't have much luck fishing a jig on the bottom, most of my jig fish are pitching to cypress trees and swimming.
