  1. I expect a store employee to help me with my problems. not everyone is knowledgeable when it comes to what they are buying, what about the people that are just starting to fish or the people that fish once a month? what about the dirt old men that don't get on computers to do "research"? If I ask where X item is they at least need to point me in the right direction.
  2. Welcome to the forums! I wanna do something to do with law enforcement one day...
  3. You could Texas rig a terd and catch fish... you can never go wrong with a straight tail worm or craw lure!
  4. Nice! I haven't had a spinner bait day in awhile... I think I'm due for one!
  5. Good job, Only thing that matters is if you did your best! Sounds like a good first tournament to me
  6. Hmmm, the only BPS I've been too is the one in Tallahassee and the people there seemed decently knowledgeable and helped me out
  7. Tetanus is very serious. Remember that whatever cut you doesn't have to be rusty to give you tetanus, that is only a myth. Rusty things are just a perfect place for the bacteria to live but ANY surface can have tetanus causing bacteria.
  8. I'm not trying to sound rude but even if English isn't your first language or something like that if you put a little more time into writing out your questions then people will spend more time to answer it....
  9. Congrats, hope you catch plenty more!
  10. Lipped and bass with a lipless crank hanging out of his mouth and he flopped making me lose my grip and when I dropped him both treble hooks got stuck in my hand... While I was getting the hook out of his mouth I was praying he wouldn't flop more while the hooks were in my hand, that would have HURT!
  11. Step yo game up bruh, lay it on her
  12. Chartreuse black back is a must have!
  13. I use the first method
  14. I did the NASCAR yell, like WOOO! Then took 15 mintues to collect myself haha
  15. They don't nessecary have to be thrown shallow because there are plenty of deeper diving squarebills, although they do shine In that 2-5ft area. Square bills are a reaction bait and to cause reaction strikes you have to get the lure to do something different every now and again, with square bills you do that by running the crank through cover like stumps, laydowns, grass, etc... Square bills are good at not getting hung up because of the corners on the bill, instead of just hitting the cover and sliding to one side it hits the cover and stays in place, and as you pull the bill makes the back side of the lure rise guiding the trebles away from the cover it hit. Square bills are not weedless, if you are fishing them correctly they WILL get hung up, If you are afraid of getting hung up then don't fish them. Some good square bills I like are the KVD 1.5, Bomber square A, and H2O CRS they are affordable and catch lots of fish. Remember that the square bill has to go to the bass, not the other way around. So getting that bait as tight to the cover your targeting is key, you want that bait running right past the bass's face. I personally use squarebills with 30lb braid and a M/F rod but I'm sure other people will throw them on something else, I feel I'm more accurate with a Fast action and I can pull the bait through cover easier.
  16. Same here, I'll take a quick look at the weather and tie on something I think I'll use the night before but it gets swapped with something else more than half the time once I get on the lake...
  17. Square bills are my favorite lure, besides that my favorite is whatever is working at the time..
  18. Because if there is no line coming off the spool when you attempt to pitch it is most likely your reel settings...
  19. I put a fluke on a split shot rig once and it worked pretty good!
  20. Don't bring a banana on the boat, and it doesn't feel right fishing without my steelers hat...
