Thanks for all the info guys! I'm going to pull the trigger on some 12lb yozuri hybrid.

I'm looking to pick up a 15 lb co-polymer line and was wondering what others prefer. Izorline XXX and Yo-Zuri Hybrid have caught my eye.

I grabbed the 7' MH at Wal Mart for 30 bucks. Not a bad rod for under 50 dollars. I wouldn't pay full price for it though.

Jigs, Spinnerbaits, and Squarebills are my go-to shore baits.
