  4. I am planning helping my friend build a casting deck for his pond prowler. It looks like the most common size of plywood to use is 3/4”. We would like to make it as light as possible so is it necessary to add any bracing under the plywood for added strength? Thank you for your help.
  5. did you use standard vac size vac tubes or a certain size for the trolling motor extension handle? Thats a great idea. Thank you
  6. Is this only installed on the bottom of the boat or on top like the plywood platforms? I assume you cannot stand on this mat or is it heavy enough? Thank you
  7. Thanks for the help on the seating options guys. I will do some more research and make decision
  8. Okay, yeah I was thinking that might be the best option. I appreciate your honesty. Can you recommend any?
  9. My buddy just purchased on of these boats and it has the hard plastic seats. I have a lot of back issues and cannot sit long in these type of seats. Can anyone recommend some type of cushion or padding to use on these seats? Thank you
  10. I recently purchased a Ninja grass blade for my MotorGuide Xi5 trolling motor. However there is not enough clearance between the propeller to install it as instructed. The only option I can think of is to add some type of spacer before the propeller to move it out a little bit to give it the correct clearance. However, I am not familiar enough with trolling motors to know if this may cause any issues or not. I have read that some have changed the propeller to a Machette III or others which seems to work, but I would rather not do this at this point if there are other options. I appreciate any help anyone can offer.
  11. Thanks, I am looking into getting the remote next year. It sounds like you may experience similar issues with battery life then?
  12. Thanks for the reply. Wow i think I have a problem then. Do you know if the pedal turns itself off automatically after not being used for a period of time or does it always have to be turned off manually?
  13. I purchased an Xi5 trollling motor early this year and have used it less than a dozen times and for only an hour or two at a time. Almost every time I go back to the boat, the batteries are dead in wireless foot pedal. I make sure that I shut it off after each use. I am not sure what might be going on but it sure doesn't seem normal. Also the pedal is very stiff to push back on with my heel. I was told that it should loosen up over time., but it is almost unusable right now. I was thinking of stacking some bricks or something on it for few days to see if that would help break it in. Does anyone else experience these issues or what is your experience. Thank you
  14. It has been postponed due to some health issues that came up. Still hoping to go this fall. Are you looking to go?
  15. Love my new Revo Rockets 7:0:1 on spinning reel. Smooth and fast.
