That was reference to braided lines, and very supple nylon mono. Then I cast sometimes the line gets caught on the lures trebles. Sounds like a casting/technique issue than a line issue.

Don't snag your hooks on the cast as often? Please elaborate.

Do you know anything about tailgating or tablegating? There is a clear difference between goign to a bar and watching a game and staying home to watch the game. There is a clear difference between watching the game at home and making it an event. You don't even know which game to do this for. Because of that, if you stay at home to watch you should make it a Wild Card party and your dad can have his buddies come over and watch the games as football fans. Aside from that, if the two of you can't figure out what to do at this point, why bother doing anything. You need to have passion for the game and the process of pre-game. Stay home. He can get some beer and you can get some root beer and sit back and eat chips and salsa.

The pack came with all that stuff. There isn't a whole lot in the "wings." My guess is its just a design thing since they are detachable.

They don't really look like they are equipped for that. If the gliding thing works I could swoop diwn and grab fish out of the water with my toenails, I mean talons.

I just turned in some training points and got one of these for free from work (apparently they go for just under $100). Its the "wings of life" backpack. Anyone know that the heck the wings of life do? So far my best guess is to jump off a mountain and use it as a glider.
