  1. Good deal! I rarely use any buzzbait other than the Cavitron anymore.
  2. I was wondering/thinking the same thing myself. If you really want medical advice from the intraweb, at least go to WebMD or some site like it.

Consider #4 buckshot to #4 birdshot. Consider avoiding anything too heavey or too powerful that may overpenetrate walls (depending on what your walls are constructed from).

For defense I would and do choose a pistol. A shotgun looks good but is way to cumbersome and unwieldy to use for defense. It's perfect for home defense though. Biggest plus, IMO, is that if you miss and your shot enters a wall the person sleeping on the other side of that wall is alot more likely to walk away.A shotgun blast at self-defense range is also MUCH more powerful than a single projectile as well. With multiple projectiles spreading out in a pattern, you are also more likely to hit your target in a stressful situation. Many (if not most) may not be able to control a pistol in that situation. Make sure you are using the right load for home defense, bubba. As for lots of little projectiles flying around, I guess you need to decide what you want to do...stop the threat or tick them off so they leave. Bottom line, people need to decide what they want to do and what is best for their home defense and then research appropriate ammo and become proficient with the firearm, including but not limited to an attack/defense plan, weapon proficiency, stress shooting, tactical movements, and escape planning. Sure, I spend my weekends practicing tactical movements. ;D If you plan on being prepared I guess you would.

Pistola or scattergun? Why? Keep in mind, everyday citizen w/ minimal training. Get that rod and gun club membership and you can get some training.

As for pistol, I have switched away from a FMJ to rounds that "should" break up more should I miss and hit a wall. I'm not sure If you can get your hands on them. Buy a .40 and I can help you out.

For which? I was just reviewing this the other day. The boss has my book and left for the day. Kick me a e-mail in the morning and I'll send you the details.

  9. Are you asking if you didn't catch any fish because you were using a baitcaster?
  10. Absolutely the biggest cop-out answer one can give. This, however, is priceless info. Speedbead uses these all the time when the fishing gets slow.
  11. "Let the fish tell you what they want." "If you do what you've always done, you get what you've always got." Fish flouro on topwater.
  12. Don't worry about that. I don't want to mess with the mess of the fryer. Have Grilly go for the chip/dip/salsa if he wants.
  13. Smoked Chicken Bacon Explosion Polish Sausage Sandwiches with peppers and onions Home-made baked beans Jalapeno poppers Lil Smokies in sauce Veggie tray Chips/Dip/Salsa Asain cole slaw Steelers chocolate cheesecake IC Light and other assorted brew and drink.
  14. Here's a question: How the hell do you come up with that as being the color that's going to win the money? That is a pretty "out there" combo as far as bass fishing goes. Just curious as to what led you to that choice. If you do what you've always done, you'll get what you've always got.
  15. What pound test flourocarbon do you use for topwater baits?
  16. You forgot your favorite style: casting topwater baits with fluoro.
  17. You don't stay on topic. You change thoughts in the middle of paragraphs. Grammar/sentence structure is poor. Punctuation issues.
  18. I saw/heard an interesting stat over the weekend. Essetially, it showed Brady's early and late playoff wins. His record after spygate is like 4-6 now. Of course, this is all recollection.
  19. Could you get some video of that? I'd love to see it.
  20. There might be some youngins on here that could learn a thing or two about table-gating from us.
  21. I believe there will be another court in hearing in a few months to determine if he must register.
  22. If I remember correctly, fish won't "outgrow" the tank. They tend to grow to limit of what the tank can handle.
