Hard to describe. Never felt pain like that before. I could feel the pulse of electricity between the two clips shooting down my back and into the leg.

Alligator clips. One on the shoulder blade, the other on my calf.
  4. BK, you sound just like a pro angler giving the generic answer. I notice you replied the same exact thing in another thread. That phrase is like fingernails on a chalkboard to me. Are you messing with me man? ;D Its a little something that Speedbead mutters to himself in the boat, in his sleep, when he is driving... Its like his mantra.
  5. Again with the carp? I would feel safer with you shooting the bow as oppsed to using a creepy crawler. I hate wearing a full helmet fishing with you.

Just finished Taser training. Rode the lightning for 5 seconds. Holy Cow.
  7. You should PM Speedbead. He did some nice work on his boat.
  8. I've never been accused to being too intelligent but perhaps the answer is both. If its digging and making a dirt/silt trail maybe the fish thinks its a crawfish. If its not digging, maybe the fish thinks it a fleeing fish. Either way, let the fish tell you what they want.
  9. I sent him mine as well. I was super impressed with his work. The fee was great and he donates a portion of the fee to a worthwhile charity.

I got an LG model around father's day. I love it compared to my old TV. However, my old TV was not LED.
  11. In July. Caught a gazillion sea bass...two keepers. Then finished the day on shark. The odd balls that needed the left handed spinning reel.
  12. Hopefully the bite will be as good as the shark bite was at OC. I do believe you were helping your dad on a trip I was on this summer.
  13. Congrats! We had a boy in March. Although my fishing time has dramitically decreased, when I do get I I alwyas find myself looking forward to when I can take him out.
  14. Will he haunt the train station?
  15. Those "quotes" have been around a while...although still funny.
  16. I'm not a fan of the Hi-Point. I had two 9mm and the 9mm carbine. I found the the hadgun jammed, frequently. The carbine is fun to shoot, however. The carbine was also one of the guns used in Columbine. I believe Hi-Point is based in Mansfield, OH, my hometown. Years ago, the knock on them was the they were good only as a "belly popper" becasue of accuracy issues. I know I had to do some significant adjustments on the sight to get it close. There was some comfort in the weight of the gun...if I had to beat someone with it ;D. I have shot the .380 and the recoil was the same as the 9mm. If it was me, I would save more money and get something different. Personally, I like the Glock. I carry one for work and for off duty. Whatever you do, pick out a few different models and shoot them before you buy one.
  17. H.R. 218 allows for nation-wide concealed carry for law enforcement officers. http://www.leaa.org/218/index.html That's the federal law. The states are still trying to get things figured out with regards to how the law applies to them. Just because you are doing something that is legal by federal standards does not mean the states cannot arrest and attempt prosecution. For example, shortly after the bill was passed there was an incident at Sturgis Bike Week with some off duty cops. They were from out of state and were carrying their firearms. At some point, a fight broke out. These guys had to go to court because they had their guns and believed they were ok to carry because of the fed. law. They ended up winning in court. However, they had to go through all the b.s. of court in orer to win in court.
  18. Thanks, buddy. This one's for you:
  19. I fished there twice this year. I would say the first time would have been pre-spawn. Had a pretty good day. The weeds were there, but not to thetop of the water. I was there the day Speedbead mentioned. The weeds were terrible. Oh, and for some reason he failed to give me props for catching the one fish.
  20. Knife. Scissors. Multi-Tool. Seat Belt Cutter on knife. Something sharp.
  21. You're Going Down. Its either by The Used or Sick Puppies. Why: Stuff at work. Karma is magical.
