Anybody interested in having one sometime this summer?  Just a thought I had..  Maybe somewhere in Central PA... Raystown, Sayers, etc?  Anyone interested let me know and we can try and get something going.. It'd be nice to meet some of the guys here..

Sounds good to me.I enjoyed the one last year.Raystown or Sayers, doesn't matter.

I'd most likely be in.

I will still only have my jon and a 9.9 though, so that makes it a little tough on Raystown.

Depends on the date, but I'd try to be there.

Really, my only "off limits" time would be from July 28-Aug 5.

I will be lounging in St. Lucia.   8-)

I think we got the photography taken care of.. her dad and sister are both photographers and her cousin is also taking pictures..  we didnt hire one  but we are definitely saving lots of money.

had a good time on raystown last year, i'd be up for another one...... raystown  is tough, never been to sayers. lets do it.

I might be into this, if my friend who has a boat is interested  :P

What about Glendale Lake?  That might be better for folks with smaller boats.  I haven't fished there in years, though.

I heard from a guy I work with that they are going to drain Glendale to do some work on the dam in August. So if we go there it would have to be earlier. What about Canoe Creek?

Sayers i think is a better option..  glendale is more difficult to get to..  and its a 20hp limit..   Sayers isnt much bigger than glendale either

Curwensville is another option.  Unlimited HP but small enough for smaller boats.   Lake has good numbers of SM and LM.    Much less boat traffic on average than Sayers too.  There is a launch fee of $5 though.

Yep Cville is another great option.. I really like that lake.. and you're right... it is a lot smaller and less traffic..

Sayers/Bald Eagle SP definitely has a lot of traffic in the summer.  I've only fished from shore there once, so I'd still be willing to check that out.  I'm up for any place if I can get my friend to go.  I'll have to point him to this thread.  Never been to Curwensville.

Curwensville is a real nice lake also.Anywhere is ok with me.

I would be fine with Curwensville.. when would be best for everyone?  Early (March) or summer?

Curwensville is actually where my picture was taken..

My fiancee is from Curwensville and we go bank fishing there a lot..

We did great up at Curwensville last June. Some of the guys I work with have tournament's up there in March and say it can be tough.I'm in either way.

Yeah it can get tough there but I almost always manage at least a few bites.  And sometimes you can really get on them, I've had some great days there.

It is a really neat lake because though it is relatively small it has a lot of different habitat types and different types of areas to fish.

I agree Hot Rod,it is a really neat lake.Do you get over to Black Moshannon at all?
