  1. Checked my local Academy. One Lexa left for $69. Price checked and no luck on the $29 deal.
  2. I've had mine about 6 months. Not a bad thing to say about it and has performed flawlessly so far.
  3. I didn't see anything specifying what was marked down, but again I was only looking at rods. I just had the guy working price check a couple that were already marked down and that's when the additional mark down was found.
  4. Well stopped by another DSG and found 6'10" m/f Crucial. Didn't walk away empty handed this time.
  5. Just priced checked a 6'8" m/xf Crucial. $42 and some change. It was hard to walk away. Probably be back later.
  6. I thought so too! Today, ordered a Lew's Tournament MG and a jig(to get it over $100). After rebate on the reel, only gonna cost $55!
  7. I got two new 6'8" MH/F Shimano Sellus Worm/Jig rods for $8/each! Wasn't looking for a rod and don't even have reels for them, but couldn't resist.
  8. You're right. This was a stupid question. I'm deleting this post.
  9. So Gander Mountain has Tournament MG's on sale for $100 and there is a $30 rebate from Lews. I have a Cabelas about a mile from my house and was thinking of going and seeing if they have one so i could get the feel for it. If Cabelas has it and will price match the $100, is it worth the $70(after rebate)?
  10. Agree with the addiction. Caugh my first on a jig Saturday night. Can't wait to go out and try again.
  11. Now the owner of a Citica G6!
  12. It's the g@dicks, but now I want the i. This is getting out of hand!!
  13. Well if I'm gonna spend $130, I might as well get the Curado G@Dicks which is on sale for $130. Yays or nays on this?
  14. I was afraid of this.... now I gotta spend more than i originally intended. I knew everyone would say Citica. I checked the prices today at BPS(about 20min away from me) and Cabelas(about 2 min away) and both were the same. I suppose I could check online for a better deal, but when you have your sights set it is kind of hard to hold off. I knew the aluminum frame would be the kicker, but I'm just not sure I'll get the chance to even try to use it to it's potential as I'm not going to be able to get out of the house too often. This is only reason I'm questioning an aluminum frame reel vs. non alum.
  15. Need some opinions on how to spend some money. Found a Caenan on sale for $70. Unsure of which rod I would pair with it, but was thinking of a Sellus($60). On the other hand, I really like the Citica($130) and maybe pairing it with a Cabelas Tourney Trail($40). However, the frugal part of my brain is saying Caenan/Tourney Trail and spend the difference on other gear. Anyone want to chime in with their thoughts?
