If you paid $80 at 50% off then the original total would have been $160... Not $260 right?

The list on reel was 99.99 on the shelf

The Rod was marked down to 89$ from 160$

I was expecting to pay 180.xx

they often have clearance on fishing stuff and the sign will say includes price that ends in .97 but it basically never covers reels or rods, i've tried on a few occasions.....

maybe someone messed up and loaded the rods and reels into the promotion or something and you made out like a bandit!

I scored a croix premier for 45 bucks one year on the dicks clearance rack!

I know that the Field and Stream stores are owned by Dick's and a little bird told me that there may be a F&S gift certificate under the tree for yours truly.  I'd be thrilled if they were running some big closeouts and discounts the week or two after Christmas.

I picked up two avids at dicks one year for 75 each on clearance. They we marked down to 99 with 25% clearance items.

Just stopped by the local DSG to see what they have. In their display rack they had a Pflueger Patriarch marked down from $199 to $150. And I asked the associate to scan the SKU, the price came back 50% off at $75. So it seems the sale items at my store are discounted an additional 50%. I hope that this is not just an isolated incident. BTW, I bought that Patriarch....too good of a deal not to pass up.
