On soft plastics it's usually a few taps then I rip them lips on cranks soon as I feel a fish grab it I give it a little yank to make sure I got some hooks in.

I use yum and zoom

I'm usually using a 1/4 on t rigged plastics cause my target area is kinda far out from the bank

I bank fish a 37 acre lake and I can't seem to find the bass lately I only catch one and it's like 10 inches. I've been mainly throwing lipless crank baits the water is really clear right now I can see like 5 feet to the bottom and the lake at its deepest is 15 near the dam and averages 8 ft deep. I'm in maryland

Yeah about a week ago I was throwing a lipless crank along the shore line I had already mad about 5-6 casts to the left and right. So I throw it again to the left and start reeling and BAM fish on. Starts pulling drag like crazy fight it for about 2 minutes and finally get him to the weed edge n all I saw was the corner of his mouth n part of his gill plate it was a biggin then I'm trying to pull him thru the weeds and he's about 5 feet infront of me and shakes the hooks and swims away. I was shaking lol and ticked off I shoulda went in the lake n grabbed him

I go every morning before work there is a 37 acre lake less than a mile away and I usually get there at 7:25 and stay until about 8-8:20 it's nice no ones fishing and the fog coming off the lake looks awesome. I don't wanna go to work lol

I just started using crankbaits a couple months ago and I like the lipless cranks I can throw them farther n control the depth to. When should I use both and which do u prefer? Also how do u retreive them?
