I hooked 2 monsters today broke 8 and 15lb line while pulling drag no tension really weird they fought really hard I used bread balls

Got a president on a 7ft bass pro tourney rod 110 bucks n a silvermax on a 6'6 ugly gx2 for bout the same price they serve me well

Here's my first small mouth out of the upper patuxent river in bowie maryland it was about 40 feet wide caught it on a white grub fought pretty hard. There's down trees n stumps everywhere. I'd like to catch bigger ones what should I use sometimes the current is fast. I've seen rockfish musky large mouth hickory shad small mouth all types of fish in there what should I try to catch the big ones

Just started using them the other day a I used a zoom and a yum lizard texas rig 1/4 inch bullet and caught one bass on each I used green pumpkin with black flake and green with green and purple flake just bounced them around and slow dragged them.

Happened to me to the other day I casted my trigged worm out and started reeling it in and got stuck I was like dang gotta break it. So I tighten the drag and get ready to break the line. Then it started moving I was like oh god big fish big fish lol so I start reeling it in and pop goes my line. I was blown then like a minute later I see a trash can lid size turtle with my worm hanging out its mouth. Made me feel better I didn't loose a good fish.

I work right by there been there a bunch of times never caught any but I've seen some decent ones in there I fish the pond with the dock which one do u fish?

Went to elkhorn lake on lunch today caught one bass. It was 19.5 inches and 3.55 lbs caught it on texas rigged culprit curly tail worm in tomato color

Yeah I know that place I live 5 minutes away I never caught any bass there tho. Il have to start fishing it more it seems like it's pretty shallow since ur in there lol how deep u think it is and how often do u go

I basically had the same thing happen to me the other day I was on top of a pipe and my chatterbait was about a foot under ready to come out of the water when a big bass was about to inhale it instead he turned around and disappeared I followed up with a trigged worm but couldn't get him back. it was the biggest bass ive seen in that pond. Probably around 5 lbs. it was a blue gill color chatterbait gold blade and a zoom fluke trailer

Went to lake elkhorn today on lunch for an hour threw 4 different worms until I put on a zoom black finesse worm t-rigged 1/4 bullet weighted. I caught it as I was ready to leave. It went 2.79 and 18 inches

Last year I was fishing at a pond by my house and I was catfishing and bass fishjng at the same time. I had my old pole from when I was a kid baited in the water and walked 29 feet away making some casts with my bass rod and I heard a big splash and was like big fish jumped. So I run over and before I realized it I noticed the end of my pole being taken into the depths lol. Wish it wasn't that rod i had it a long time
