9 lb in crofton I'm from that area I live five minutes away. When did u catch it? It's the pond behind the shopping center right?

Yeah I live in bowie and work in columbia I got to elkhorn on my lunch break and before work some times. I don't know where tall oaks is at. I also go to a couple other ponds In columbia Jackson pond and sewells orchard has 3 ponds .

Yeah I live down the street from melford ponds down belair dr. I go there couple times a week haven't got any big ones outta there yet. I rarely go to allens pond never usually catch fish there and a lot of ppl are always there

Went to allens pond today from 5-7 pm caught 2. A small one and the biggest went 18 in. 2.5. Caught them on a bluegill pattern chatterbait with a havoc the jerk trailer in disco shad. Throwing it behind schools of bluegill

Caught this little guy today and when I threw him back in the water he spit out a crayfish right on top of a rock. I was like I don't understand so I looked at it and it was grayish color. So il be getting some gray baits from the store

I usually go around the lake to the left side n throw t rigged worms because this time of year the lake is thick with vegetation and any thing will get hung up. I mostly do catch under 2lbers. But get a good one once in awhile. I have seen some 5+ bass caught there.

My PB from last year didn't have a scale but it was 20 inches. I caught it on a white chatterbait I bought a scale after that. Any ideas on the weight

Went back to lake elkhorn today on lunch found the school again. Didn't have 10 inch worms on me so I just threw the tomato culprits got couple bites then switched to black worm with sparkle and chartreuse tails and landed 3 more they were a little bigger than yesterday biggest went 1.7. Tried a jig got hung up to much.

I fished lake elkhorn yesterday on my lunch break for an hour I managed to find schooling bass in the middle of the lake. I landed 3 small ones pound each on texas rigged culprit 7.5 ribbon tail worm in tomato color. They were deep in cabbage thought they were bigger. Is there usually bigger bass hanging with the smaller ones? I'm going back today n gonna throw 10 inch worms n jigs. I'd like to hear your thoughts about how to get the bigger ones
