  1. I'm using the older power pro
  2. Awesome, thanks WRB! I'm really only hearing the noise when I "yo-yo" the bait in grass. Kind of defeats the purpose of pitching when your supposed to be quite
  3. Thank you Dwight, I'm currently fishing 20 lb power pro because theveryone grass I fish isn't very thick, I can just feel and hear a slight sawING sound and I don't get many bites. I've heard the samurai braid doesn't break all the time, however it will break. Seems to be a good trade off if I can get more bites
  4. Looking for a new braided line to fish in grass. I currently have power pro on my flipping rod but every time I pitch it in some grass I hear this terrible sawing noise. I'm afraid I may be scaring the fish away. I hear Diawa samurai is quiet but the trade off is that it breaks. Can anybody back this up, or possibly make any suggestions? Thank you in advance for any info
  5. Thanks for the info roadwarrior, I didn't get to fish the grove this past weekend due to an emergency. I plan to get a line wet out there this weekend for sure though
  6. Man I hated having to bail.. is the info true about the grove guys?

  12. I plan to go get some buzzbaits and cranks this weekend. Possibly a few more spinnerbaits as well. Anyone gonna be doing some fishing this weekend?
  13. Seems any bites are hard to find, or maybe im just not doing something right. All my bites have been on a T-rig with craws. Ive had 1 bite on a ribbon tail worm but they have all been under a pound

  16. I've been following the Memphis pond hopper post. Just curious as to if their are any spots in the north ms area that I wont get kicked out of. Found a nice small pond off old 61 but a policeman told me I couldnt fish there.
  17. I have only tried shea rd a few times with no luck at all. Ive been interested in the civic center, Neshoba, and the spot by the high school ever since I read people talking about them on here.
  18. New here also but would definitely like to know about more ponds to hop around to. Some my friends and I are looking around and saw/fished many places but really haven't had any luck. We are also very inexperienced with bass fiahing since we have only been trying for a month or 2. Will definitely be paying attention to this thread
