  1. The Simms seem pretty comfy and breathable
  2. Thanks to all for your replies. I'll definitely look into all of those. Something that will work from upper 30s to mid 80s would be perfect.
  3. Interested to see what everyone's experience's have been with bibs. Is their anything out there that's comfortable enough for colder weather but also won't be terribly hard on you if it rains during warmer weather. Any info is appreciated Thanks Wes
  4. Anyone interested in fishing Thursday? Gonna do some pond hoping, wondering if anyone else will be out and about. Wes
  5. Anybody wanna fish Thursday?
  6. Smith is an awesome fishery. I've always enjoyed that lake. Lots of shallow and deep structure to fish. Loaded boat docks, points, grass and brush piles. Just about anything you can imagine, except mats.
  7. Thanks guys, I haven't been on the lake since last year. We were catching them between docks with crankbaits. I'd like to try more main lake stuff this go around
  8. Anyone know what the fishing is like on smith lake? Making a trip soon just seeing how the bites been
  9. I've been interested in this. I love my revo sx casring reels (5 total). Good to know the spinning is a great reel too
  10. Good rods, however the guides have not been so good to me. The epoxy holding the guide to the rod has started peeling on at least one guide on every one of my abu rods. But again, they're great rods minus the guide issue. Could also be that I fish them hard or I just got some lemons.
  11. I'll have to remember that when in shopping around. Will definitely give it a try on one rod and see how it goes. I'm religious about re-lining my rods every other trip. Except when my club tournament season is going. Then I re line before every tournament. I'll for sure add that to my list. Tackle warehouse offers 1000yrd spools of C21 for like $8 or $9. Which is good for when the club tournaments take off for the season since I re spool before every one
  12. I love the C21. I use it on 95% of my rod and reels I don't use mono either. I like little to no stretch. How do you like sunline? I've considered trying that out but it's pretty expensive lol
  13. Look forward to hearing how it goes! I'm considering sunline as well as other mentioned in this post. I'll definitely be checking that out. That's pretty much all that's in Mississippi are resivours, with the exception of a small cut of pickwick and bay springs. I still like my PLine very much I may end up going back but it never hurts to try new stuff out Seems the Invizx has some good rep. I think I'll grab myself a spool when it's time to reline and see how it goes!
  14. I'll definitely keep that in mind, thanks! Is it abrasion resistant?
  15. Thanks to all of you for the replies. I'm really just trying to get some ideas. I've had wonderful experience with the C21 PLine and I use the PLine flouroclear for my crankbait rods. I'm just thinking of trying some new things out to broaden my spectrum. I've pretty much been a PLine user since day 1 and I feel their are other great lines out there. From the looks of all the replies I should have no problem finding some new product!
