  5. No fishing today, cooking duties. I really enjoyed having lunch with the guys yesterday at Fin and Feather. Happy Easter everyone!

  9. Who all is gong to be on the lake Easter Weekend? I'll be around, probably get there Friday, leave maybe Tues or Wed. Good Fishing eveyone!
  10. 6Mile and Catt, The only way across Sabine river south of the Dam right now is by I10, but this will not last much longer is the water keeps rising like it is. All the bridges are close except I10. I think you can still cross at the dam, but not 100% sure of that.

  12. JC I would think the Burkville bridge may be closed in the near future if the water keeps on rising. Be careful if you plan on going that way. LR

  14. Hey All, Wow I've been out of pocket for a while. I finally got to put boat in the water last weekend for about a grand total of 7 hours after almost a year... Didn't do to great, but had 4 total, largest just under 3. Talk about rusty.... LOL, I'm going to do some catch up reading see how everyone has been doing on the Big Bend. Good luck all!
  15. Grassman I hunted for grass last weekend from Indian mounds, Negreet creek, Tennessee bay, up too pendleton bridge and found none. Found some fish with side scan but they wouldn't hit anything. I should have ran down io pirates cove.
  16. Headed back up this weekend, hope we catch some nice ones. I'll report on how it goes.
  17. Day trip to pirates cove. 5 heaviest 14.8 Caught on watermelon sinko's in 1 to 2 ft of water on bank.
  18. Water in Negreet creek is chocolate milk. Water temperature 63 to 65 in different places. Bite is slow, fish are following water up high on the banks 1 to 2 ft of water.
  19. We are back up on the Bend. Bad foggy this morning, going to make a slow ride first thing. Heard a 11 something was caught yesterday.
  20. We fished Wednesday and Thursday up Neegret. Very muddy water temp at 52, managed to catch 6 total with 3 keepers largest around 3 pounds. All caught in 20ft of water. Thursday was bad all day long. Rain and more rain.
  21. I have finally made it home. 4 days of travel has me wore out. Planning first or second week of march to be up at the lake. Hope I haven't miss all the action! I fish mostly Negreet creek area, will report what I can.
  22. Hope everyone is fishing and catching. Looking fwd to the reports so I can dream of when I get home.
  23. I can't wait to finish up my hitch over here and get up to the lake! 3 weeks to go!!!

  25. W oW! It was HOT! We did manage to find a few fish in deep water. Grass line was as at 19 ft, bass holding in 20 to 25 ft of water near creek beds. Caught 8, 3 keepers, largest just under 3 pounds. Water temp was at 89.8 deg, stained water. Figured out I didn't drink enough water, bad headache after fishing to 1pm in the heat. Back to work, no fishing for me until late September. Blake
