  1. Check out the Dobyns Sierra 735 or the Shimano Zodias 7'2" Heavy. Both should work perfect for your needs.
  2. I know it's early, but Clunn is in 2nd place already.
  3. I stopped by F&S last night. VMC hooks were buy 3, get 3 free. I had went in to get a pack or two of VMC Neko hooks, so I ended up walking out with 6 packs of Neko hooks. Throw in the $10 coupon I had and I was out the door with 6 packs of VMC hooks for a whopping $0.50!
  4. Very small finesse baits.
  5. Keitech Swing Impact Fat Rage Tail Swimmer Lake Fork Magic Shad (regular and boot tail) Best 3 swimbaits out there.
  6. The original floating Rapala. Tried and true.
  7. 6 for squarebills. 5 for a 12'+ diver. You could get by with a 6:1, but it would be taxing for a diver that deep.
  8. That's a 62 mile drive from me in Cranberry... Zooky's in Beaver Falls is the best I've found around. Smokin Joe's on the Southside is a close second. I drive up to Anchor Bar in Buffalo 1-2 times a year (home of the original buffalo wings). Well worth the 3 hour drive in my opinion.
  9. Gotta agree with @Lures'n'Liberty. Chain restaurant wings pale in comparison to a good mom and pop restaurant. I live within 2 miles of both BWW and Quaker Steak and I can count on one hand how many times I've eaten at both in the past 3 years. I usually find myself driving 20-45 minutes to get wings worth eating.
  10. Christie Swindle Martens Menendez Clunn All of my picks have a good history on this lake. I'm hoping it pays off.
  11. If you're a bank fishermen exclusively, you're already covered.
  12. I need to do my research for this one. I'm at the 85th percentile and I'm 17th in our group. We've got a good group of guys this year.
  13. We primarily targeted walleye. However, in Canada, bass and pike just come with the territory. We caught 90 total walleye while I was there, and I had the most of our group of five guys with 29 of those walleye. One of the guys in our group was a very inexperienced fishermen who had just bought his first boat, so I spent most of the time fishing with him and running the front of his boat for him and teaching him how to run a boat and catch fish. On days where the walleye weren't cooperating was whenever I put him on spots that produced a lot of bass so that he would still have a fun time catching fish. We all know how temperamental walleye can be.
  14. Maybe so, but channels like Military Arms Channel, Hickock45, Yankee Marshall, Hegshot87, and the likes are strictly firearms and concealed carry based.
  15. I just got back from a 10 day trip to Ontario Canada (9 spent fishing). We fished two different lakes during my trip. The weather was changing every day and was making the fishing conditions tough on us the whole time. The water was 64* the day we got there, it dropped to 57* three days later, and it was 69* on the day I left. So as you can imagine, this really screwed with the bite. I caught the majority of my fish on Keitech SIF swimbaits (3.3 and 3.8") and Lake Fork Magic Shads (3.5") on a 3/8oz. swimbait head. I also caught some fish along the way on Baby 1-, Rat-L-Traps, DT's, Pointer 78's, Vision 110's and Lucky Craft DR crankbaits. The majority of our fish came in 3-7' of water in weedy flats. I racked up a lot of smallmouth and a few walleye's targetting rocky banks, islands, and main lake rock points/bars. It rained 7 of the 10 days there and that pattern seemed to stick for me. On the sunny days was whenever the jerkbait worked for me in the 8-11' creek channels off of the weedy flats.
  16. I just got back from my trip that we talked about. The big pike really started biting for us on the last few days of the trip. Keep at it. Those mature pike are powerful creatures.
  17. I don't eat fish, but my father does. He soaks them in water immediately after filleting. Then he'll soak them overnight in milk. And somewhere along the way, I know he squirts some lemon juice in with them.
  18. I was unaware this spread to this fishing channels as well. I know the gun channels that I watch have had this issues for about 2 months or so now. A lot of them have started Patreon accounts to help them keep funding their channels. If this keeps up, I can imagine it's only a matter of time before another website comes along to host videos that's lucrative for the content creators.
  19. I caught 29 of these guys last week in Canada. It was a great trip.
  20. I just spent 10 days in Canada throwing Keitechs almost the whole time. I caught fish on every color I threw (probably 5-7 different colors). My point is, these baits are very lifelike in the water. Throw what you like and whats native to your lakes and they'll produce for you. There is no one super secret top producing color.
  21. I just got back from a 10 day trip to Canada and it rained on us 7 of those days. My new Huk suit never let me get wet. It's definitely a thinner material that's better suited for warmer days. My Frabill F3 suit is a thicker material and much hotter in warm weather.
  22. Wind from the east, fish bite the least...
  23. https://www.hawgtech.com/node/5 You can buy the knobs by themselves from Hawgtech.
  24. 3 of my guys are moving on and I jumped up 7%. Crochet Combs Jordan
  25. Gary at the Tackle Trap talks very highly of them.
