  1. Friendly bump 5 days to make those picks for Albemarle Sound.
  2. So sorry to his family and friends for his passing. Rest easy, Tony.
  3. Dang, I'm sorry to hear that. That's what I was afraid of. I even went as far as commenting on some of the Facebook posts from BassResource to remind people.
  4. I felt a bit lost without the forums. Over 10 years now I've been frequenting this website daily. Glad you were able to get things back up and running for us, Glenn.
  5. Is this thing on? Testing.. Testing... We are back boys! I hope everyone was able to get their picks in for the past two events while BR website was down. We've got 20 days before the Pasquotank River/Albemarle Sound event.
  6. Friendly reminder - one week left to make picks for Lake Murray!
  7. Don't overthink it. Bass are opportunistic feeders. If it looks like prey and swims like prey, a hungry bass will try to eat it.
  8. What a wild event. I had 1238 points on Day 1 at 2pm... And I finished the event with 906. Congrats to Jacob Foutz for his first Elite victory! This was a fun one to watch. It was a shame what happened to Randy Howell on the final day. We have 16 days before the boys head to South Carolina for the Lake Murray event. Should be a good post spawn bite for them.
  9. He seems to know this water system well. He won the open on Tenkiller the other week.
  10. Hey everyone, I am back to normal operations at home and it looks like we are back to action on the Arkansas River. Good luck everyone!
  11. Friendly reminder - 7 days to make picks for the Arkansas River My wife and I are expecting our second born on Friday, so I will likely not be around for a week or so to remind everyone to make their picks. So consider this your final heads up.
  12. In wake of this, here's another interesting article that BASS just put out. BassmasterOpen angler disqualified, banned for life - BassmasterB.A.S.S. has disqualified angler Yuming Gao from the upcoming Lake Eufaula Bassmaster Open following a violation of the Bassmaster Code of Conduct. After a thorough review, B.A.S.S. determined that an
  13. I build my own spinnerbaits because I like making exactly what I want and knowing the quality of the components. That being said, the Booyah Covert series that Jason Christie designed is the best spinnerbait design ever. If you're buying off the shelf, buy the Covert.
  14. https://www.in-fisherman.com/editorial/mullins-awaits-word-on-credibility-assessment/548182 Finally found an article from a credible source on the matter.
  15. I've seen 5-7 people in a 12 to 14' Jon boat numerous times on some of the lakes near the Mennonite communities around here. It's scary as hell because the gunnel is sitting about 3" inches above the water. You should see how fast a 9.9 can push a boat weighing that much 😂
  16. Jason Christie gets it done on the Tombigbee. It was great seeing some of the old timers duke it out in the top 10 on Sunday. We've got 16 days until the next event on the Arkansas River. So be prepared for another good old fashioned river shootout. Our current top 5 is: by ADK TheBaitMonkey NBuckley61 Kglass Scaleface
  17. Allegedly, David Mullins has failed a polygraph test after fishing at the Elite event this weekend at Tombigbee. No official statement has been made by Bass or David yet, but expect more info to come out soon. Mullins finished the event with a 30th place finish that netted him $5500.
  18. My roster after day 1 is: 4 9 60 73 86 One day I'll eventually put together 5 good picks.
  19. If you haven't figured it out by now - these boys didn't make it to the elites solely by being able to read a forward facing sonar.
  20. Steve Kennedy Randy Howell Mark Menendez Current top 3. What year is it?!
  21. Final day to get picks in for Tombigbee. Do your research. It's looking like 15 pounds is going to be a big bag.
  22. Friendly reminder - Picks need made by Wednesday night this week. Good luck everyone! It will be fun to see how the boys do on some water with very little history.
  23. Sounds interesting. I like it!
