  1. It's a great fishery and I'm happy to live 3 minutes from the ramp. It's getting to be that time where the majority of my trips move from Coffey to Clinton allllllll summer long. A summer afternoon/evening of Walleyes and Wipers to boot never gets old!
  2. Give me a shout when ya do, might be able to give ya a tip or two or hop in the boat sometime. I know a guy that guides there for them.
  3. Are you being PC on this one?
  4. You should probably take a pass on that one.
  5. There's not a Crappie in there under 12", and most of the average ones we catch by accident are around 15-16". My dad caught a 17" Black Crappie on a 3.5" Coffee Tube in November. Freaks.
  6. Had some great fish hit the deck w/ customers this weekend.
  7. You should be running 800kHz also. If your unit allows. Also play with the range. I like 70 ft. to start and you can go up and down from there. Blue seems to be the best color palette for me when side scanning. Here's a screenshot of a big rockpile I took last week. Well the secret is out that you were crankin'! Since you said you caught it on a 704CB with 10 lb. flouro FIRST. CAST. OF THE MORNING. Hope you get to keep that lake record for a long time!
  8. Had another good morning and was called off at 11:30 so not too bad. Just about when it had slowed down anyway. @Bluebasser86 and I have Flair and his buddies out on Wolf tomorrow.
  9. Best five with customers today at 18#. Pretty consistent pattern the past few weeks. Was giggling at all the boats in the hot water. Sounded like it was a tough day for them from the guys at the gatehouse.. Me, myself, and elbow grease.
  10. A few from last night to show you my configuration. Just depends on what I'm doing at the time.
  11. Just got this picture from my mom. This is what happens when I give my old man my spots and pattern. It's a good'n too, he's stoked. Probably his biggest in a long time. Big green fish for St. Patty's Day. He also added that my mom has been the Drum queen today.
  12. Haha. Stockton is the only Ozark lake I have not fished yet, not a once. My partner knows it very well, but it's spring on an Ozark lake. Should be fun.
  13. Fishing Stockton next weekend for our first EKB tournament of the year. Go there and report back.
  14. Console. You won't get the best side scan results on the trolling motor.
  15. I have a 93sv in the back and 73dv in the front. I had two 73s for two years before going to the 93s. The 7.3" was just fine, using split screen nav/DV/2D, etc. However, now that I have the 9 I probably wouldn't go back.
  16. http://www.cabelas.com/product//2412938.uts?searchPath=%2Fbrowse.cmd%3FcategoryId%3D734095080%26CQ_search%3Dechomap - Last year's non-CHIRP 73SV, $499. Won't find a better unit for a better deal, hands down.
  17. Another good day, nothing really changed. I dumped one on it's first jump that was over 4 but was totally unprepared and didn't get good hooks in. Had 3 in the boat today and they sampled just about everything in Wolf. Had two mammoth Crappies too, both 15". Fun weekend. Moving baits.
  18. Garmin Echomap 73 or 93SV. Cabelas and BPS are clearancing last year's units for almost half the price. The new CHIRP units are worth their value in full too. If you don't need mapping and contours the Striker series are great too. They have internal GPS so you can drop way points and follow tracks, just no maps.
  19. First 20 lb. sack here with a customer today. Only boat out. Banner day.
  20. I edited my post and threw the link in there for ya. Not a 'bird guy but I follow along and see all kinds of stuffs.
  21. Are you a member of the used humminbird and minnkota fishing electronics mapping & accessories group on FB? I'd suggest posting in there, someone is bound to have something, or would buy your unit with the broken ducer.
  22. Pretty righteous you're still able to sack up 20 lbs. on that lake, probably sees a lot of pressure.
  23. Kinda funny you say that, because both days this past weekend they wouldn't eat anything but ITO Natural. My best one came on a different color, but as far as the numbers of fish, they wouldn't have anything else.
