Fishing was tough for sure during the basscat tournament. I caught a lot of small fish shallow. Found a few beds but they weren't locked on them. Great time though. I can't wait to actually see it a normal level to learn it some more. Caught most of mine on flukes and spinnerbaits. Good luck to anyone going. I didn't look at a gauge but I think it may have been starting to fall a little. Lot of fish caught fishing parallel to the bank line in 7-10 foot of water.

Any reports? Heading there Tuesday. Last I heard it was almost six foot high.

They were having a high school tournament at toledo last weekend. It was good to see all of the kids pumped up! I hope it remains strong

Hey ***atic, I will take second to you anytime . Bassman9000, these guys on this forum are just about as forthcoming as you will ever find. Even though they may not give out "exact coordinates" the information they do give on areas and techniques will make you study and become a better fisherman. I hope to start adding a little information in the future once I get to trying out some of the places and tactics I have read about. Good luck on your tournament.

Thanks Catt. I got a tournament there next weekend. Will prob fish those coves with brush hogs and fluke/senkos focusing on water around 3-4 ft. Does this sound like a decent starting place. My disadvantage is that I am fishing against ***atic . Just trying to make the top ten or so

I tried some of the coves on the north side of lowes Tuesday in all the fog. I caught some small fish on the points using an a-rig. Didn't go very far up in them though. What would the water temp need to be for the move to shallow water? I was figuring mid 50s. Many thanks to everyone that has posted. A ton of good information. I hope to add some good catches in the future.

Good post Shaneus! A lot of times people take for grandee that everyone knows the terminology. A lot of good information on this site. I prob will be asking a few questions along. I have only been there once but looks to be a Great Lake.
