  4. I have a feeling a fishing specific kayak is gonna run me over $500, I'm more or less looking for sonething I can easily hop in and out of to fish.
  5. I wanna buy a cheap kayak this winter. Mainly so I don't have to wade the river and can just cruise down to some spots and hop out to fish. Looking to spend less then $500, haven't really looked around at anything. Any help would be great! Thanks

  8. a buddy of mine actually makes them. I don't have the patience!
  9. I've been fishing wish a long slender home made float, similar to a Drennon Crystal Avon. Has a long stem, keeps it standing better in wind. 6 or 8 gram floats usually work best, however if it's calm I would rather fish a 4g
  10. suspended about a foot off bottom.
  11. I wouldn't say that, I'm 15 and every rod I own, I purchased with my money. I work for my money.
  12. They are in some of the small natural lakes by me too. But the great lakes carp grow giant.
  13. Recently I've been floating for carp off the piers by my house. I live on lake Michigan, been floating corn with my steelhead setup on a centerpin and having a blast. The powerful runs on a 5.6 pound leader are amazing. Something you've gotta try. Also been trying to get one on a fly, which is proving rather difficult.
  14. A wheelchair. Razor scooters, and an electric lawnmower. Fish some pretty nasty waters lol
  15. Only as sensitive as you find it. (;
  16. War Eagle Gold Series Spinnerbait. about a 3 pounder
  17. A 7' M or MH makes a good all around rod
  18. The MH is a pretty stout rod. My friend picked on up and it also has a pretty weird grip. Might take some time to get used to
  19. I've also got an Inferno and the max 3d is definitely a step ahead.
