no, I got a bunch of these. The long stem is great, and it's been a windy season here. my only complaint is what you mentioned, only a very bit is visible!

I know a lot of guys are Fenwick fans on here. I am not, ive broke two of them and they're kinda heavy, but if it works for you, good! I think both rods broke due to manufacture defects, both broke first time using them. I think the Max series of reels are some of the best for the money, I still have my blackmax from when I got into baitcasting equipment

I like Drennon floats of all kinds, and a few my pal gave me, not a clue what they are but they're great! as far as Ravens floats, what would be the best for Depths of like 3 to 5 feet and medium to slow current?

I'd get the Fast, and heavy will probably give you a bit less distance but I'd rather have a heavy fishing around grass.

a very experienced steelheader I fish with said to stay away from Okumas reels, so I think ill end up getting a Raven Matrix!

G Loomis Gl2 Vs E6X
Looking at trying one of the two As a dropshot rod, I really like the color and handle on the Gl2, but as people say, they're kinda heavy? The E6X looks nice, but is it a better rod than the Gl2? Anyone use both That can help me out?

Spinnerbaits. Small t rigs, light wire jigs, jerkbaits, pretty versatile.

I leave them on the spool. put them in a gallon bag. Then in my back pack. No need to pre cut leaders, take your time.
