  1. I try to not trespass or anything. It gives fishermen a bad image. I've gotten permission/access by being respectful and nice, something that's not happening if you get kicked out.
  2. I'd remember if Golden Corral was open for free one day a year!
  3. What was the purpose of posting that??
  4. I had a really weird dream last night where I was fishing an elite event. I remember watching Ish Monroe and telling my Dad about the incident that happened with him. Then I remember getting up on the stage and showing the crowd what I was going to use to win the event: A shakyhead with a spinnerbait attatched to the line, with a senko trailer. Weirdest setup ever!
  5. Backpacks: Any book bag will do, but the Bass Pro Stalker and XPS bags are pretty cool, as well as the Tackle Warehouse bag. Lures: Any major lure company makes good baits. Find a company with products you like and use them. .
  6. I'm talking more about people who don't fish. My family and friends (although my friends love to fish) see me w/ my tackle and shake their heads. "Why are you fishing? The fish are all hibernating." Bunch of baloney.
  7. Nice! I'd like to catch a striper sometime. Not really a pond fish
  8. Thank you! Maybe we should both see a psychologist lol
  9. Do you guys store all your baits facing in the same direction? I do this religiously. My brother laughs at me, but I can't stand when they're facing every which way.
  10. Looks pretty sexy, but then, it's hard to compete with a Cronarch.
  11. It's definitely more of a spinning reel problem than it is a baitcasting one.
  12. Well, I must say, Livetarget got some money on them, 'cause everyone and their brother picked one up just to see what everybody was talking about. I don't think they'll be a lure people will turn to for the next decade or so, though.
  13. I like sexy shad or something shadlike, and a chili craw color. Both big producers.
  14. I don't buy $100,000 boats, $400 combos, or $20 crankbaits. I fish from the bank, so no need for a boat. I snag deals on combos; right now I'm fishing a $190 combo that cost me $80 new, and another combo somebody gave me. I get my baits from trees and bargain bins . You can bass fish on a budget, but (admittedly) it is hard.
  15. Nice! Those lures are so beautiful.
  16. I've seen them do both. Sometimes they'll hide out in deeper cover, sometimes they'll bunch up in the shallows when it's cold. It's funny how many people down south believe that the fish hibernate in the winter; they don't.
  17. Like your new prof picture
  18. TW carries the Punisher Hair jigs, which are touted to be excellent.

  20. Never used them, but they look awesome.
  21. Have you seen that fishing fails video where the guys pulls out his telescopic rod, bends it to put the hook on, and breaks it? It's so funny.
  22. I'm a banker, I use a Backpack. I have three plano boxes, two for hard baits, and one for soft plastics and terminal tackle. I have backup soft plastics and tools in the bag, and that's about it.
  23. Is this what you're looking for? http://www.amazon.com/Berkley-GJFB12-PBJ-Gripper-Football-2-Ounce/dp/B009AVPMM6/ref=sr_1_14?s=sporting-goods&ie=UTF8&qid=1421429541&sr=1-14&keywords=Berkley+Bass+Gripper
  24. It's also good to have a weedbed adjacent to deep water, I've heard. Don't fish 'em a lot personally.
  25. ....But this is a pretty good deal if you are. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00ITGMR3U/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER
