Lake Sunapee, NH
Largemouth there are very tough. I’ve caught some monsters there but only a couple. Jobs cove is a good place to start. If you have a lot of sun fish docks and if it’s overcast throw a top water or spinnerbait. But I’d personally go for smallmouth there. If so like NH bull said the lighthouse is a good place but yes it’s windy, but make the wind your friend and listen to it. Wind blown points often produce well due to it pushing smelt up on them. Any kind transition areas are a good place to pick up a few. But it’s a very tough lake this time of year. Best of luck

Squam Lake, NH
Good evening guys. I spent all weekend trying to figure out Squam Lake. Caught a ton of fish but only had a few keepers but the were basically fry. I am having trouble finding the bigger smallies here. I feel like I’m looking in the wrong direction. I’ve been targeting offshore structure. Mainly the countless reefs that lake holds and I’ve been fishing in 25 fow due to the thermocline being right there. But unfortunately I haven’t picked up any good keepers. Am I missing something to the puzzle here. I’d imagine they would be deep but am I not going deep enough? Or am I fishing the wrong type of structure? Any help to point me in the right direction is much appreciated

Ossipee lake
You must be fishing apart of NEBA. I will be seeing ya there! I usually do pretty well but they have been doing weed kills the past few years that seem to be screwing things up

Ossipee lake
Lately I've been trying to figure out ossipee lake in New Hampshire. It's a big sand bowl essentially. I've caught some dinks here and there and I've driven around and have marked some just sitting out in 30'. My biggest question is this. Are the smallmouth in ossipee roaming (cruising around working bait)? Or am I missing something huge? If anyone can point me in the right direction it's much appreciated. I'm not looking for spots, just wondering what the smallmouth do this time of year there.

Helix 5 having hard time
So I have a helix 5 I just put in and every time I make a run across the lake I'll obviously slow down to sonar a spot and it has a hard time getting a reading of the bottom. It just says it 1.1ft and after waiting for like a minute or two it finally gets a reading anyone know what my problem is?

Sunapee Lake NH Smallies
I'm in need of help of finding smallmouth in sunapee lake. The water temp today was 70 and I couldn't put much together besides catching a dozen dinks on the top feeding on mayflies. Stuck with that pattern hoping to find bigger ones but no luck. They are looking for a larger source of food. Anyway I was reaching out to you all for a little bit of advice. How do I approach the lake in finding summer smallmouth. There's some noticeable main lake reefs you can see on a map. Should I be looking for rock piles on these pieces of structure or should I be looking for smallmouth on uncharted structure?

I spent 10hours on the lake and it was hard to put a pattern together. Tell me what ya know!

Where do I start
Hello, I have run into a serious problem. It's ice out and I just took out the boat today and plan to do the same yesterday. I fished some small weedy ponds today but tomorrow I'm doing the same. I couldn't put together a bite what so ever all I caught was a couple pickerel. Water temp was in the high 40's and I can't figure out what to throw to entice these fish. Give me some ideas how to locate and entice these bass to kick the season off with a good start.

Ice fishing for bass
I'm from the north east and I've been punching holes in the ice for years and catching tons of bass through the ice. But the bass I catch are less than a pound. I've spent hours looking on what kinds of structure I should be fishing. The most productive structure I've fished is a gradual slope going from 5 feet of water to about 10 feet with a flat at 10 feet. I'd like to know how to key in on larger bass. Let me know what you guys have on catching quality bass through the ice

Late Season Nashua River Bass Fishing
I'm going to the Nashua river this weekend. I have never fished it before. I am bringing a girl on a date so I'm determined to put some bass on the boat. I am wondering what kinds of pieces of structure to fish this late into the season and the kinds of baits to throw. I'm thinking of starting out with a weightless tube, slowly working a suspending jerk bait and rolling a spinner bait. Tell me what you guys have to catch some Nashua River Monsters.
