  1. 25.73 and 25.49 last two Saturday's on st Clair!! The day we had 25.73 I lost a few over 5.5-6 that could have made it 28 plus
  2. fishing would be decent around here if they didnt spray a bunch of the lakes last week
  3. we caught 42 in a few hours 2 weeks ago on st clair.
  4. I throw dt10's on a 764 and 14/16's on a MHM AVID. The 765 would probably work well for what you need. What about a 805CBRM??
  5. flouro stretches. That is where the stretching stops. Whipping your casts and setting the hook really hard can cause it
  6. I use 30/3000 for everything
  7. I don't have any X spinning rods but I do have a avid and X crankbait rod. I think it's just the guides and grip. If your gonna do braid/flouro leader the avid would probably be better
  8. I use a 7ml avid in the spring when catching a bunch of smaller fish 2-3lb or when shallow. I prefer a 7m when deeper or around bigger fsh and would be a better universal rod. I use a 7' legend or dobyns 743 most of the time. My dropshot rods are both Avids and I feel they are very good for the price. The dobyns 703 743 fast actions feel and look more moderate than other brand fasts
  9. I would get a 7' medium avid. I also like 3000 size reels better f
  10. I use st croix and dobyns rods. The dobyns fast seems more moderate than the st croix fasts
  11. Call and talk to dobyns. They will probably recommend the DC744
  12. Not sure on your range but dobyns dc744c
  13. Depends on the company but most of the Dobyns spinnerbait stuff is moderate and their new 735/736 is glass
  14. I use 3000 or 30 size reels. More line twist with smaller spools. Of coarse I also use a lot heavier line than most people also. I use a 7'ml or 7'6 mlxf
  15. Dobyns 743 or legend elite 7'M
  16. There are actually quit a few around here.
  17. I used a 7' ml avid for a long time for tubes. I ended up going to a 7' m cause I was not getting the hook in the deeper fish. Now I use the 7' legend and dx743's. Use a 6'9 mlxf and 7'6 mlxf for dropshot but the 7'6 is softer than I really like
  18. Alright. Enough winter. I want more smallies
  19. Couple new (to me)tube rods
