  1. Well I may give them a go have a gift card for tackle warehouse.
  2. do the floaters really float on top or just below the surface? no youtube videos unfortunately.
  3. Can't find rof0 been looking for it but see it nowhere.
  4. I have kind of been obsessed with swim baits lately. I want to find a soft swim bait that runs surface to maybe 1' Can anyone think of one single alternative to the Savage Gear Floating?
  5. it's all good. the rods and baits are not even a part of the sale. All of my rods are Phenix. Never had a reason to get another.
  6. Wonderful how tackle warehouse has a sale the day after I spend a few hundred bucks. New Phenix M1 Swimbait rod and some Osprey Swimbaits.
  7. This is done in just about all sports. Drugs are taken by body builders, runners, cyclists, baseball players , football players etc etc.
  8. Ha ditto. I have just a couple and it'll probably stay that way forever. Never had much luck with them. Now if were talking swimbaits on an underspin that's a whole other story.
  9. In my experience you can fit less in a box than in packaging. I would keep in in same and then put in a larger bag. Simple. Boxes cost money. Good for hard baits but not for soft baits IMO. If you must just go with Plano 3700 or 3704 and don't worry about scent preservation. Just carry some spare scent with you.
  10. just click on demo program on their site.
  11. So I am actually in a place to start considering getting a boat and moving from non-boater to boater. That is if all goes according to plan and we all know how that usually goes. Got to stay positive though. I am looking to get something in the 30-35,000 range. I am not sure what the max amount of hours I should consider? I saw a Ranger with 325 and a Legend with 90. Same price. Big difference. Thanks for any info. New territory for me.
  12. I'll say it again along with many others. Bass Pro Shops makes great rods. Now if you want to spend more I can vouch for Phenix M1 series rods.
  13. I have Quantum Energy and Quantum Smokes on my spinning rods. Hold up great. Never had a problem so I like them a lot. They come with a spare braid spool or at least the Energy does. All of the PT reels can be used in salt water as well. Titanium bail. Light enough weight. 11 Bearrings etc etc. I am sponsored by them so that's what I use reel wise. If I wasn't I still would just because they have been dependable for me. That being said Pflueger does have a cult like following and for a good reason. Any reel in the 150 range is going to perform great so just get whatever feels best. I would go to your local tackle shop if you can and test out reels on a rod and see how they feel. Tackle warehouse also has a reel testing program where they send you a couple reels to try out before you commit to buying.

Keep in original packaging. Benefits are you know name of bait, color, size, takes up less space. If your using a lot of soft plastics on a particular day just take out what you need and put in a 3700. Put back in bags at end of day.
  15. get about one a month or so trying to sell me a vacation along with the subscription. annoying, so i just selected block caller in my phone. if its your cell you can always block callers.
  16. Tackle Warehouse by far.
  17. I have been using a Brecknell scale the same ones use in Major League Fishing for the past year and it has been accurate and flawless. make sure to order the fish grip when you get it. you can buy on the major league fishing website and amazon.
  18. Under 200 Phenix M1. Good deal for the money. Just about any Bass Pro rod. Especially the Extreme.

What brand was yours? Were you using bibs? Bibs make a difference. I have a West Marine I got on sale for like 200 for top and bottom. Very high quality, fleece pockets very high fleece lined collar etc. The best you can get will come from the sailing community not BPS, Tackle Warehouse etc. You could easily spend thousands on a suit. Check out West Marine.
  20. maybe you spooled it on wrong? try line conditioner. and try to stretch it out a bit. hook to a tree and pull to reduce memory. or skip the fluoro. or maybe you overspooled. i never use staight fluoro anymore. at least not on my spinning reels. it's almost always braid with fluoro leader. line twist is bound to happen sooner or later on a spinning reel. Pfluegers are great reels so i doubt it's the reel.

I'm not saying anything to crazy. The US has more hospitals than anyone. We have the highest rates of disease. We have the highest rates of animal/product consumption. I didn't say anything that is not a fact. There are numerous doctors across the country that are treating all ailments form the common cold to cancer with diet alone and are much more successful than traditional western doctors. Most of these people do not work in hospitals because they would be fired. There is no money to be made in the truth. A good place to start is trying for yourself before saying a single word against anything. A second palce to start is HERE The third thing to do so one can understand it all is to READ I think I'm done with this topic. It has gotten way to off topic.
  22. I am not a micro guide fan. I am not a full size guide fan. Phenix used mid sized guides on their M1 rods. Works perfectly.
