Hello Everyone, I just purchased a Dobyns 734 and a Lews reel. I'm going to use it as a "versatile" rod, not just for one or two techniques. The baits I'm going to be fishing on this rod are- Buzzbaits / Chatterbaits / Jigs / Senkos / Swim Jigs / Spinnerbaits/. My question is what kind of Line would everyone recommend putting on that Set up to fish all those different baits with?? -Thanks in advance

Looking to get a new Medium diving crankbait rod, I think i'm going to get Dobyns Champion XP 705CB Glass. I'm not sure if should go with Med/Hvy Fast Action or Med/Hvy Mod-Fast Action, having trouble deciding between mod-fast and fast action. Thanks for any advice!

Going to get a rod for medium diving crankbaits 6-12' range, my two choices are *** *** Black Cranking Rod 7'1" Cranking St. Croix Mojo Bass Glass Cranking Rod 7'4" Medium They're both around the same price because the 13 *** black is on sale at tackle wharehouse. Can someone explain what "crank" means in terms of power, which is what the 13 *** blacks power ratting is. Thank you for any help!!

I am looking to get a new Jig/t-rig/pitching rod, the rod will mostly be used for jig fishing though. I mostly use 3/8, 1/2 once jigs. I am deciding between the Dobyns Champ Cast Rod 7'3" Hvy 734 vs. iROD Air Series Casting Rod 7' Heavy. I have read good reviews on both rods witch makes the decisions more difficult. Any advice/ opinions would be a big help.

Has anyone ever used the Powell Max 3D, if so would you recommend it?
