  1. All I fish is Texas rigs with 3/16oz and 1/4oz tungsten sinkers. Where can I find bulk tungsten sinkers?
  2. I have been using a 7 inch zoom trick worm Texas rigged with a 3/16 oz tungsten weight and am wondering what hook style, size, and wire size would be best? I use a MH rod with 15lb Fluro. Thanks!
  3. I have been using SpWire Fluro 15lb and really like it. It is very strong and it allows me to punch the hook into fish that other wise I would break off on the hook set. Anyone else have a good experience with this line?
  4. I have been fishing Texas-rigged worms and have been doing really well on them. Somehow, I think a Texas Rigged Trick Worms get the most bites? What bait do you find gets the most bites? That's my goal is trying to get the most bites I can.
  5. Is this a sensitive line?
  6. I am used to the sensitivity of my 15lb Flurocarbon. However, I change line a lot and it's a little costly. What line should I use to get just as good sensitivity as Flurocarbon, without using Flurocarbon or braid? Thanks!!
  7. The other day, I was bass fishing a plastic worn with my baitcaster. I had the 1/2 oz t rig on 15lb SpiderWire Flurocarbon. Anytime I let any slack in the line, the line would twist around the rod very badly. I had to unwrap it by hand every cast and it was not fun. What do you think the problem is? Why am I getting the twists?
  8. What line type, size, and brand do you feel poppers work best on and why?
  9. Anyone ever use this bait? I picked up 2 on sale yesterday. Is it any better or worse than others on the market?
  10. What is the retrieve you feel like you have done the best on? I fish an area in the morning summer months with water temps in the low 80's and active bass. I know I'm gonna get a lot of "figure out what the bass want" answers but I just want to know what the best retrieve is with my water conditions I can use.
  11. I know this is like the orginal popper topwater. Do you find these better than others on the market or do you find other brands to excel over this one? What is your favorite brand that you feel like produces the most bass?
  12. Anyone use this bait? How do they compare to other poppers on the market? I picked up 1 today from Bass Pro.
  13. 12 Izirline Copolymer will work for all.
  14. I have fished the ned once and caught a whole lot of fish on it, but I lost so many ned rig jigs it was not worth it. So I heard ZMan is coming out with a weedless Ned rig head. I don't think there is any weedless mushroom head on the market is there?
  15. I have been using Flurocarbon for my Jigs and T Rigs in 8-15ft of water and love the sensitivity I get. The water clarity is about 2 foot so I don't use Flurocarbon for invisibility, just sensitivity. If I were to use 12-15 pound Big Game monofilament, would I get the same sensitivity?
  16. Yo Zuri, being a co poly, does it have less sensitivity than Red Label Flurocarbon? How is the feel using T rigs and Jigs in 8-15ft water?
  17. A lot of anglers believe Flurocarbon has less stretch then Monofilament which intern makes it more sensitive. I thought this until I read something on it the other day. I read that Flurocarbon has just as much stretch as mono, but it is more sensitive because it is denser then mono. Your thoughts on this?
  18. In the area I fish, I have bass as well as bream. I have found a 1/16oz beetle spin to be hard to beat when it comes to fishing for both species. Have you had great success with this lure too?
  19. The water I fish is 1-5 ft deep. I have had great success with Flukes but really want to get into fishing plastic worms on the bottom. Generally, if the fish are shallow in relation to the water collum, will the fish still go down and get the plastic worm on the bottom? Thanks!
  20. My bass are extremely active in my part of Louisiana. Water temps are in the mid 70's, perfect for bass. So, I know when I ask questions people say "there are no rules in fishing" but as a general rule, can I catch bass on a texas rig plastic worm on the bottom or do I need to switch to a moving bait like a spinnerbait since the fish are so active?
  21. Thank you! And the current is not too strong so 3/8 should work well. Thanks!
  22. I live in Louisiana where in the morning in the river I fish in the summer, the water temperature is about 83 degrees. I typically catch bass shallow on the banks in 1-5 feet for the first couple of hours in the morning while the water temperature is cooler. My question is would 3/8 oz jig work in this situation? I have cypress trees and stumps along the bank. I have heard of jigs deep in cold water but I want to know if they work shallow in warm water. What have you found with this? Thanks!
  23. This reel is awesome!! The best part is that it costed me only $50 and it's the best reel I have seen for the money. It is smooth, and casts a mile. I can't see my self getting any 200 dollar reel if this reel is going to work just as good as those $200-400 reels. If you are looking for an insanely good reel, try the Abu Garcia Black Max!!!
  24. Hi, I have an 18 ft bass boat that is vinyl (not carpet) on the bottom. Quite frankly, I want an easy way to clean the boat and am looking for the best scrub brush but I want it on a pole so I do not have to get on my knees. What scrub brush works best? Thanks!
