I have used spinnerbaits in the past and have done well on them. But I want to get into chatterbaits. Are chatterbais as weedless as spinners? Also, how do they fish differently?

I don't really look at the brand of a rod when I buy it. The most important thing is to get the right Power in the rod. Generally speaking, fishing baits on the bottom( Jigs, Texas Rig, Dropshot) I love stiff rods. Those light whippy rods allow you to feel nothing on the bottom. Go with stiff rods for baits on the bottom.

I use 40 lb braid and like to use a monofilament leader. I swing when I set the hook hard. What size and brand should I use?
