  1. I think those should be in the no contest required category. You get a rod for being such a great member.
  2. Shouldn't there be a minimum post requirement aswell ? Like at least 40. Seems kinda unfair that someone who never participates in the forums or never will after this is done has an equal chance as someone who has been on for more than 2 weeks? Seems like so one could signup just for the chance of a new rod and we never hear from them again. Just my 2 cents.
  3. Depends on how you want to fish them.
  4. Sales and catching a lot of fish on one lure then running out.
  5. For buzz baits I use keitech and missile bait shockwaves.
  6. No as long as your using the right line, hook, and rod combo. You shouldn't have to try and break the fishes jaw. I reel down then make a quick pull and don't lose many at all.
  7. Yes but your arms won't like it

  9. If you want to grow that get a 7' medium or medium heavy fast action rod. The halos are made for heavy fishing situations. If you want a good rod get one of the following. These are all around 150$ or less.- denali jadwood -fenwick HMX or HMG - daiwa Taluata - falcon bucoo - Abu Veritas 2.0 - kistler pro series.

  14. Yeah they are awesome. One of the smaller lakes I fished has about 8 feet visibility in places, so I went right over a brush pile and sight fished with a dropshot. It was pretty cool watching the fish dart out of the brush pile to try and get the little craw. Especially when I barely moved it and the legs with go up in the defensive position.
  15. Easy now... We're considered fat and obnoxious.
  16. Congrats, I guess ???
  17. Let's hear your best and worst. Either you the boater or co angler.

  19. Didn't someone pull a spot/smallie mix of of wylie or Norman over the summer?
  20. Yes, they sink pretty fast, but they have good action and some alive a lot in the water.
  21. Well not old enough yet but one day.. First I would buy about 500 acres of land build a pretty big house on it. Next I would build a 50 acre private lake on this land for hunting and fishing. Third I would take care of my family probably spend 500k on each person. Then I would make a bait company, this would hopefully grow to be the next strike king except I wont make half the lures suck. Then I would buy a bunch of toys like trucks 4 wheelers boat all that good stuff. And then live the rest of my life fishing and hunting.
  22. The only problem is they don't have much action at all.
  23. YouTube channel, he lives in Illinois and has some pretty good videos.
