  2. ok, thanks. when you put the pieces of cork on do you just epoxy them? i have seen in Mudhole the butt caps, but the are screw in. can you get them wo you can put them on without a screw in? i really like the design and am going to try it when i get the materials. thanks aaron
  3. nice rods everyone! ronnie, what kind of fighting butt cap is that? i am new and dont know how to do a rod like your 2nd pic. if you could help me out on that because i am going to start a spinning reel soon and want one of those on mine. thanks aaron

  6. i have seen some "foiled" crankbaits and they look really nice. i was wondering how do you "foil" them? i have no idea, so if someone could walk through it with pictures that would be awesome. thanks in advance THEbassmaster
  7. hey boatnik13, its me from the e-mails at aaronhoman@hotmail.com. well, i use a band-saw to get the shape, then sand it down to how i like it. hope this helps. THEbassmaster
  8. hi, im new, but i think i know the answer for your question. i just made a chatter-type lure, and painted the jig-head myself. i just used spray paint, then a drill bit to make the eyes, made sure it was good and dry, then added 5 minute epoxy. havent had it out yet, but i dont think the paint will come off with the epoxy on it. hope this helps THEbassmaster
