chatter baits
chatterbaits are pretty easy to make. i just used a 1/4oz. jig head. put 2 split rings on it so the blade will be verticle when swimming. next, i cut out the blade on stainless steel(not sure how thick). used a drill press to put 3 small holes in it. connected the blade to the split ring. and added one of those clip things and finish. here is what i cam up with. if i didnt make it clear, just say something and ill tell you. aaron

Saints Vs. Chicago Bears
yea, the bears d is good, but not great like the begining of the season. i think the bears will win it though because the d will get pressure on peyton and stop addai. but the saints did beat themselves with 4 to's to none, cant win many like that. so i guess.....go bears :-[ but..........[move]WHO DEY!?[/move] ......if they can stay out of trouble/injuries, but oh wait another arrest, jonathon joseph on ?marajiuana? charges :-[ aaron

Power Pro
i like green, good line. the water i usually fish is off-colored so it works good. i have it on my flippin'/pike rod and another worm rod, works great for pulling them out of cover. aaron

spinning reel + braid = ?
LBH, yep we knew he needed a heavier rod so he could pull em' out of weeds. we ended up getting 2 spinning combos, one a MH and one a M. the MH should work great for the pike and the M is to replace his other rod. i got quite a bit of lures, and we will probably be getting a Tracker 175TX, 2006 version on clearance! they will be calling us tomarrow to tell us what the payments ect. will be. ill post some pics of the gear i got later. aaron

spinning reel + braid = ?
ok, so we're goin to BPS tomarrow. my dad needs a heavier spinning set-up for pike, and we were wondering if he could get good distance casting say 30# Power Pro with about 1oz. and up lures. i know ive heard of people use it for finese fishing with like 10# PP, but dont remember anyone saying anything about 30# PP. would this work, or should he go with something like Trilene Big Game? ive heard good things about that too. right now he has 8# Trilene XL Smooth Casting on a M power rod, just not enough to pull em' out of weeds. thanks for any advice. aaron
