I love fishing in pines. I don't usually bother going for sailfin cats but I have caught a couple on hot dogs that I soak in old bay seasoning. As for peacock bass I like to use a heddon torpedo worked pretty slowly around weedy areas.
I personally use boxes. I just adjust the dividers so each type of worm has its own spot. For example: bottom right is finesse worms top right is senkos top left is grubs and so on.
I'm down here in Broward. What's been working for me is a KVD squarebill crank bait in a shad color. I've caught multiple fish on it. Not sure how much the fish below weighs since my scale is dead I would say a good 4 pounds.
