  1. I do about 50/50 in the northern iimois region I like soft plastics for those home grown small ponds. If you use soft plastics in a big 20ft lake lol good luck. Then I switch to my cranks, rattles, chatterbaits. And not to mention topwater baits. #milkandbread
  2. Just got some ardent reel butter grease and oil, originally 7.50 each, got them both for 3 dollars. And some gamakatsu finesse wide gap hooks, 10 for 1.50. Orginally 5 for 4.39.
  3. Should get you started for around 100 dollars.
  4. Oh. I usually get 15% off anyways. Military discounts. The small things
  5. Theres a memorial sale on tw? Darn it I just put in my 100 dollar order a few days ago.
  6. I usually fish more slow lures. People love a jerkbait in this temperature.
  7. For a quick overview of a the bait, It seems pretty well built, I bought one and I'm waiting to test it out as well.
  8. Could you guys post a picture of this spiderwire bag next to a yardstick so i could get an idea and measure my current utility boxes to it?
  9. Hey everyone, I've been researching this for awhile now, and I can't really find any medium quality cheap sling backpacks to carry like utility boxes. Does anyone have any recommendations? I'm looking in like the 20-30 dollar range, carry 2-3 medium boxes and couple water bottles. Thanks.
  10. That is what I was thinking as well
  11. The caffine swim'n shad goes into this category right? Because I have had great success with those as well.
  12. Guys I had a question, would you guys rather have a ghost bluegill G-fix 3/4th ounce Duo Realis lipless Crankbait in your tackle arsenal, or a lucky craft LV 500 in MS american shad in your tackle box, I just can't seem to choose, and no I can't unfortunately afford both.
  13. TW has them, they are live forage. Sorry guys I went to bed. Long day yesterday. Sorry! I'm asking things like has anyone used these, although they are three bucks is the durability better, action somewhat the same (I'm just looking for a little swimbait since the shellcracker G2 isnt avaliable yet for purchase ><) ps they are coming out with new colors sometime soon. (Their facebook account said so). I was watching the mattlures get bit in every shape and form but 17 dollars for something that could easily be torn or destroyed isnt my forte. There was a youtube clip where a user went through two in the video as the soft plastic part was destroyed on contact with fish.
  14. Hi. I was recently looking into mattlures u2 bluegill. Say compared to the live foliage swimbaits in crappie and bluegill color. Those go for three bucks, matt goes for 17. Is there a specific reason why matt is better other then lifelike views? Yes I know theres a youtube video on it, but I want to know if the live foliage would catch the same amount or close for the price.
  15. Has anyone tried the molix lover chatterbaits?
  16. Has anyone tried the molix lover? Rattles one? In comparison to average chatterbaits?
  17. Then if you guys had to recommend an non memory for of line for topwaters on a carbonlite 7ft m-fast with a 7.3:1 diawa tatula, what would you recommend? I know mono but what types, or is there any alternative to mono?
  18. In terms of sunline super natural mono, 20lb test for topwaters, I hear an awful lot of compliants that it breaks. Is this true?
  19. Hi guys, heading to bps tomorrow. Pretty excited, I got my 5.4:1 tatula reel today. I was thinking about the bass pro shops cranking stick, any opinions?
  20. Do you guys think I should get a crankbait rod or a plastic/jig rod? I'm in the chicagoland area.
  21. Hello everyone, first post here. I was curious on what my second rod and reel should be. I have a berkley lightning rod and a bass pro reel 6.3:1. I used it as a multipurpose and it worked swell. I was debating between a crankbait rod (okuma tcs medium+ with medium action) or a st croix mojo bass rod same specifics. Or I was wondering if I should get a jig, plastic rod as I use hard tackle and plastics equally. I know nothing about a plastic/jig rod but I love sensitivity and curious on what actions to get it. I'd want it at 7ft and around 100 dollars. I planned on purchasing either another bass pro qualifier (protip its 50 bucks the second weekend of febuary) or a diawa tatula(on amazon for 100) Opinions?
