  1. My most recently wierd fishing experience happened yesterday around 3pm. Workin my FatFree Crank along some fallen trees, and get a strike. Set the hook, but the fish was kinda half way out of the water at this point and just completly suspended for atleeast 2-3 seconds. I thought, hmmm? got the lure back to the boat and i had yanked one eye out perfectly from the socket. just staring at me. i kept it and played a little joke on my girlfriend but thats a different story.
  2. Topwaters obviously or weedless spro frog
  3. The senkos are great IMO but i really wish they could find a comfortable medium between being laoded with salt and tearing up so fast. hmm.. actually now that i think about it, its probabbly better off for Gary Y. and Co. to make them tear up like they do, cuz you know were still gonna keep buyin them! :'(
  4. I just always remember to keep a midget scuba diver in my trunk, or if small enough, my tackle box.
  5. Bring a finnesse jig with a rattler on it. colors could include black, black/blue, black/red, etc. what you want to attach to the finnesee jig is going to be slightly differnt than in the daytime. instead of trying to match up to two colorwise, try a contrasting color (ex. a black jig with a bright red tube.) good luck, and tell us how you did >
  6. I have to agree that spinnerbaits get switched off my line faster than any other lure. its not that i wont givem a chance, cus trust me, ive wasted plenty of time on them. but one little bass that ive caught on a spinner is just not enough to build up my confidence in them. topwaters are ticking me off and getting me up really early in the morning recently as well ;D > :(
  7. Thanks for the help guys
  8. This seems to be my biggest problem in learning the art of bassfishing. Latley i have been using finnesse jigs with pigs, tubes, senkos or brush hogs on em. I have noticed since switching to the jigs with the brushguards (as opposed to a fluke or worm with an open hook) that its essential that i learn the proper technique in a good, solid hookset. it seems everytime i try to mimick a bassmasters television hookset, it just yanks the lure away from the fish! fishing weedless rigs at the moment is out of the question for right now due to the fact that i cant set a hook. this is becoming frustrating. please shed some light guys
