  1. :oHOLY CRAP-PIE!! that thing is huge. if i was that guy, ide have been sayin to myself, "reel, state record, reel, state record, careful...."
  2. haha FC you are something else. most peoples average catch is around the same size as your baitfish
  3. you could use a two way swivel to allow the minnow to move around, also depending on the heighth of the minnow off the bottom it can move just enough. obviously, the higher off the bottom, the more movement. from a bass' point of view, a stranded looking minnow is an easy meal ticket anyways
  4. are you sure it wasnt bought by time warner?
  5. LOL, putting aside the fact that I suck, I don't fish any water that is likely to produce a WR. Of all the lakes that I fish, the biggest fish caught have been 18lbs. It is possible though not very probable to grow larger fish in our slightly cooler climate. I don't fish any lakes much farther south than San Jose. Cuba does have a REAL good chance. There have been some really good fish caught down there. Only problem is that they were caught using an illegal type of bait, If I remember correctly. awww..... :'( you Pooor thing, you.. 18? thats it? i think someone needs some warm milk
  6. maybe like this.. :-/
  7. Does that nessesarilly mean there eating more or just eating your worms instead of other foods? by the way, whos stalking the pond? might wanna watch yer back out there. thats scary
  8. fer sure RW. those skirts are killer. you might wanna get some brush hogs and GYCB craws for trailers. hey RW, do you know when hes getting more New England RoadKill colored skirts?
  9. So while visiting family in Texas I scooped up some dirt and placed it in a gallon zip lock. The dirt was placed under the mattress when my daughter was born so she was born on Texas soil. At age 3 she was already flashing the Hook Em Horns sign. The jb is my intials.
  10. i really like your theory but i was thinking about it and thought this could be one route to go. your going for the schooling baitfish look right? your not trying to catch multiple fish at one time, right? so you dont need multiple hooks. i was thinking you could actually make the rig ON the spinnerbait. here are my sketchy drawings. since im not that good of an artist, your gonna have to use your imigination (that you obviously have) and combine the two drawings into one spinnerbait. the final product would have two sets of blades going vertically, and two sets of blades slanted horizontally. PS. i just thought about adding a wire set of blades identical to the top drawing , coming off the "chin" of the weighted head. yes? Double PS. since there would be so many blades weighting the bait down, maybe make them out of something really light like aluminum? or something
  11. i went for shimano but dang daiwas are nice too

go here and click on the box thing that says x rap instructions http://www.rapala.com/products/luresdetail.cfm?modelName=x-rap&freshorsalt=Fresh but to make it simple, i guess its like a sloppy walk the dog cadence. does that make sense?

my favorite is a brush hog. instead of breaking the "arms" at the top of the loop, ill break em off at the bottom and cut alitte in front of them. then i take the wings and cut em down the middle to give it a "craw" appeal
  18. dang fourbizzle, you gonna write a book? jk thats some real good information and alot of tips people could adapt to any water. preechiate it
  19. thats what i want. gotta call the cable co. on monday
  20. certain fishing spots can be "pressured" but that is due to the size of the water and how much fishing activity that water receives. but, besides from a completely horrible pressure on a small body of water, that is very un true
  21. just checked, dont get that either. checked the website though, doesnt look the same as the old channel at all. is it worth watching anymore? seems like outdoor programming is getting so watered down these days, it almost makes me went to get up and go out doors myself. :-?
  22. i just moved to a place that uses "Adelphia" brand cable. the first thing i did when it got hooked up, was look for Espn and OLN. found espn, but no dice on the outdoor network. Can i get it for an additional cost or is it not that kind of channel?? :'( :'( :'(
  23. I second that
  24. In NJ you are allowed 9 hooks each line. Matt How do you find information that is state specific like this? obviously, i checked NC G&WL site but no luck
