  1. lol my gummy worms are gone before I hit the water!
  2. When I keep fish to eat. I give one good hit on the head to kill them and then into my center hatch they go.
  3. I like my e series better than the I. No experience with ci4+ but heard really good things about them.
  4. Never had any issues with hooksets on jigs or any other type of lure. I often fish spooks/lunkers/DWB for stripers and bass on my yak. No problems there.
  5. I use the reverse improved clinch knot on all my lines including braid. Never had one knot slip on me. great knot.
  6. wacky rig 5" worm. Usually a senko or yum dinger. This never fails me especially when I need one fish for the day so I can say I did not skunk lol.
  7. Chatterbaits are always tied on my rods when its windy!
  8. Bumping them on rocks, wood, cover works best. I rarely ever catch any thing throwing in open water.
  9. berkely or spiderwire from walmart. I have a big head and they have some that fit and dont squeeze my head. Plus I lost a pair overboard on my kayak. Shrugged it off and just bought a new pair. I would have gone crazy if I had bought some more expensive pair.
  10. 20lb sounds good since you are fishing in heavy vegetation.
  11. what reel are you using? You said you are new to baitcasting. Maybe put more brakes on?
  12. Strike king red eye lipless/sk kvd 1.5 and 2.5 squarebilles/ 5xd and 6xd/ pretty much strike king cranks all work. Ive tried more expensive lures but the sk's just flst out work.
  13. Yup that should work for an all around setup
  14. Nice! Looks like you got it all down. My problem is I always bring more gear than I need when on the bank. Way way way more than I need actually lol.
